65 assorted games 70% off, no risk of getting trampled!

The time has come to unveil our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/black_friday_weekend_promo_291113]special Black Friday promo First, let's put things in some perspective, though. There are a few great things about the Black Friday retail festivities, and one really, really bad one, that kind of spoils all the joy for many people. On one hand, you can go out there and grab consumer electronics, games, movies, and other tech-goods with insanely attractive discounts, finally getting those things you wanted, but without the guilt of paying too much for stuff that's not essential to your wellbeing. On the other, you risk getting seriously battered-up in the process, as hundreds, or thousands of other people will be trying to do just the same and they won't take competition kindly. Each year people get injured in their pursuit of great deals. Badly injured! Killed even! Even if the media blow the thing way out of proportion, the risk still exists.

Why take any risks? You're entitled to great Black Friday deals without exposing yourself to raging crowds. Take the digital route, this year! We've prepared a huge selection of titles for you, and applied a huge discount to all of them. Games that usually cost $9.99 are now available for only $2.99. Titles with $5.99 regular price tag are up for grabs for only $1.79. That's 70% off discount on a selection of 65 fantastic games. You can greatly expand your DRM-free collection and emerge victorious from this whole Black Friday ordeal, without staring into Death's cold eyes even once. You don't even need to rush in--we give you plenty of time to plan your purchase, so you don't end up with something you bought because it was dirt cheap, not because you really wanted it. That's Black Friday GOG.com customer love style! The offer lasts until Tuesday, December 3, at 10:59AM GMT.

I just saw Hostile waters in there, hadn't noticed that with the "YOU OWN IT" and whatnot. Got a gifting copy.

All of you who don't own it yet and don't intend to buy it for this price, please get in line to get some sense knocked into you.

Where is the line? there is no line.

Nirth: I took a chance on Tzar, hopefully it's fun or at least works. :P
Dude, it's 1.79! I heard you can't even buy ramen for that price in Sweden :P
Nice promo but the only games that reotely interest me are the Tex Murphy and I am not in a hurry to buy them.

I'll post something in the classified topic anyway...
BOOM! That's good promo :> I'll grab few games this afternoon :)

Never had any problems with it and I mean a retail version. I tried it on different computers with different Windows and it was running perfectly all the time.
OK Tzar seems to be the star of this promo. I don't remember hearing of it before or maybe I passed over it as it seems to be a Warcraft clone.

So my question: Is this a Warcraft clone?

I might get the 2 Independance War even though I did buy the first one when it came out and was never able to get pass the first mission.

BTCentral: Hah, I feel the same. The only game of any interest in the sale was one I already had :p

Having said that, it's probably the latter. I'm sure I've got a backlog of a year or two worth of games to play through right now anyway (between GOG and Steam), so maybe it's just as well!

Still working my way though & enjoying NWN2 at the moment which I picked up (along with a fair few others!) in the last GOG sale :) (already had it, just not everything from the GOG version - playing the OC again then will do all the expansions too!)
Yup, NWN2 I picked up for the expansions just like you did. Although, I didn't install it straight away which could be my downfall. I stall because I know I have to prepare myself for hours of character creation because the expansions start at level 18. I plan all my characters beforehand and I spend (too) much time weighing the pros and cons of each build. It's an illness :D
Requesting that the end of the year sale be a two-week long insomnia sale, just to see how many people froth at the mouth and fall over trying to stay up for what they want.
Chest pain and seizures are a small price to pay if the deal's good enough.
How come I see only 20 games in "ON SALE" tab on the mainpage?

Those tabs are all ways buggy for me, some times they show less, some times they show more.

That's the max allowed on that tab.
