Be kind, rewind

<span class="bold">Shadwen</span>, a thrilling exercise in silent killing within a bleak medieval environment, is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and a 15% launch discount.

Time stands still as Shadwen lurks behind a dark corner, wishing that the little girl cowering beside her didn't have to witness the brutal scene that is about to unfold. But maybe she doesn't. Perhaps there is another way to get past these guards, climb on that scaffold, and continue on her mission to assassinate the king. Before you execute any action, time stands still, allowing you to change plans on the spot and even rewind failed attempts. Killing might not be necessary, as long as Shadwen manages to stay hidden or use distractions, thus sparing young Lily the horrible sight of this muffled violent dance.

Put on your soft leather gloves, don your darkness-colored robes, and keep your murders quiet as you become <span class="bold">Shadwen</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 15% discount will last until May 24, 1:59 PM UTC.

huan: "You might also be interested in: Trine 3." That's not very helpful advice, I already have it!
Well, I would be interested in the second half of Trine 3, if they ever make it. That game is pretty much the definition of "unfinished".

Falkenherz: Being a huge fan of Thief and Dark Messiah, this is a no-brainer for me, since the game seems to be an Amalgam of both. I’ll wait for the first wave of reviews to make sure there are no technical issues or frustrating bugs that need patching first, but then I’ll jump in.
If you mean Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, I assure you this is nothing like it at all.

Is this like Thief in third person view and with girls? :)

LiefLayer: anyway Konrad is offline, but I got a problem with my free prize code.
I cannot redeem it.
T'was just a manly powernap! Anyhoo, your code (and all the contest winners' codes) should work now. Sorry about the hickup, we had a Judas in the system.
Another game from Frozenbyte... Did they actually finish this one or is it half finished like Trine 3?
Well.... it looks interesting. But not convinced enough to even consider buying it right now.

PaterAlf: So there was a demo to define the launch price and yet it comes with regional pricing that makes the game more expensive than the defined launch price in several countries? I'm very disappointed. :-(
Second this.
Just wishlisted, better wait for reviews.

thank you!
low rated
The minute i saw the game names on the coming up tab... i googled

90% of the new upcoming were and are unfortunately some isometric 3d turning game with vectorlike graphics, and it flips and zoom like crazy ( youtube videos)

So i sit these 12 ones out ....
I would not been able to run the game at recommended, and my goal is to buy games i can run at recommended cause i have been running too many games at minimum and these slow games only frustrate me :D
having 'lag' all the time.... hahahaha

check the recommended specs, thats a no go for me and my machine is like an old dinosaur
unable to run at rec.:

Shadwen:

Recommended system requirements - Windows: 64 bit Vista / 7 / 8 / 10
Processor: Intel quad-core 2.0 GHz or dual-core 2.6 GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 2GB / Radeon HD 6850 2GB
DirectX: Version 10
Storage: 6 GB available space
so, i am already waiting and looking forward for dozens of AGS new games to be released :D
thats the only stuff i can run at recommended, i am also still hoping for the secret files finally to arrive here, but i think that might be a long trip....deepsilver is already here at gog , deepsilver seems to releases new games , but no good old games ? ...
Hope he offer what he promise...
Wohoo!
But, please be good as the demo!
Instabought. It's Frozenbyte, plus I really loved the spectacularly choreographic turn-based fights in Ronin.

(protip: Can't run Shadwen? Buy Ronin, it's great.)

It is... but it's not really anything like Shadwen at all. If you want something like Ronin, play Gunpoint if you haven't already. That's the game that inspired the creation of Ronin in the first place.

Bigs: This isn't Skyrim / Fallout 3 / Fallout New Vegas / Oblivion...
Yeah, it's much better because it's released for Linux and DRM-free ;)

What do you want - it's a demanding game. For such you better get an up to date rig :) I'm glad developers don't hesitate to utilize modern hardware more to its potential.

Here how requirements look for me:

Recommended system requirements - Linux: Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04 or newer
Processor: Intel quad-core 2.6 GHz or dual-core 3.6 GHz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: OpenGL 4.1 Nvidia GTX 660 or greater
Storage: 3 GB available space

True but Gunpoint has no time manipulation as I recall. Both games are great though.

I just finished the prologue, unfortunately I have yet to play around with the grapple. No bugs so far.
