Be kind, rewind

Shadwen, a thrilling exercise in silent killing within a bleak medieval environment, is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com with GOG Galaxy support for achievements and a 15% launch discount.

Time stands still as Shadwen lurks behind a dark corner, wishing that the little girl cowering beside her didn't have to witness the brutal scene that is about to unfold. But maybe she doesn't. Perhaps there is another way to get past these guards, climb on that scaffold, and continue on her mission to assassinate the king. Before you execute any action, time stands still, allowing you to change plans on the spot and even rewind failed attempts. Killing might not be necessary, as long as Shadwen manages to stay hidden or use distractions, thus sparing young Lily the horrible sight of this muffled violent dance.

Put on your soft leather gloves, don your darkness-colored robes, and keep your murders quiet as you become Shadwen, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 15% discount will last until May 24, 1:59 PM UTC.

Instabuy! The pre-release event + Frozenbyte behind it ... just.. instabuy
"Hot Diggity Daffodil!"

(Bought)
So there was a demo to define the launch price and yet it comes with regional pricing that makes the game more expensive than the defined launch price in several countries? I'm very disappointed. :-(
I've tried the demo, but it wasn't Dishonored-like. It felt clumsy and very hard, because I had no clue what to do. I might pick it up though in a couple of years 75% off.
"You might also be interested in: Trine 3." That's not very helpful advice, I already have it!

Bought, of course.
I like it. As soon as can redeem my prize I will play it.
Anyway: Frozenbyte + Stealth + demo + cross-platform (mac and linux) for me it's already 4/5 stars (if the game is good too, 5/5 stars).
This isn't Skyrim / Fallout 3 / Fallout New Vegas / Oblivion...

GOG I am disappoint... ><
... a freely attachable rope...

Unless they've radically improved upon the way it functioned in the demo that's quite an overstatement...
Being a huge fan of Thief and Dark Messiah, this is a no-brainer for me, since the game seems to be an Amalgam of both. I’ll wait for the first wave of reviews to make sure there are no technical issues or frustrating bugs that need patching first, but then I’ll jump in.

Well if you use the slash to mean divided by perhaps it is?
anyway Konrad is offline, but I got a problem with my free prize code.
I cannot redeem it.
To be honest, I was interested in Shadwen (although i haven't played the demo yet) until I read the review of a well known website, where the reviewer wrote "(it's) Not the worst game, but is difficult to recommend." That being said, one review equals to none so I'm gonna wait until folks around here submit their own review about it.

blotunga: [...] Dishonored [...]
Magic word... :)
high rated
Just for fun, some possible game categories:

- Responsible Parenting Simulator
- Guilt-induced Stealth Motivator
- Child Traumatizer
- Murder Tutor (Ages 7-12)
- Take Your Child to Work
Another review is not that kind either.
Having said that, I'd prefer to read some reviews from GOG players here, as they more closely match my taste of games, than any review site.
