I basically copied my steam review of this game I bought it again on GOG because I enjoyed it very much and wanted a drm-free version. First off with the bad stuff no option to change aspect ratio but I suppose you can change that with graphics drivers software but haven't tried it myself I have a 16:10 screen this game is locked at 16:9 but still not bad if you don't mind the thin black bars. If you are mostly a pc user playing with mouse and keyboard well there is some good news and bad news the current key bindings are terrible at least for me especially if you have a rather wide keyboard it will make world of a difference if you change them which thankfully the game lets you. I personally prefer the keys not too close to each other I simply swapped the movement keys wasd to numpad keys 8456 and the attack defend inventory to wasd and others to either again near numpad key and wasd except for the space bar, alternatively use a controller if you have one. The game isn't bad but something getting use to, due to its unique nature you are a shop keeper during the day and a dungeon crawler by the night. It has a nice money loop which gives you better purpose not just upgrading your stuff but running a market as well and accumulating as much gold coins as possible like a true capitalist. The music is nice in this game, the story is ok so far honestly haven't played enough to recommend but overall loop is great each room has a slightly different layout with a fixed area and different biomes to discover and hidden treasures etc. Lastly combat is more strategic in a sense you have to find the right angles and use obstacles to your advantage and retreat before you loose all of your loot. My only complaint is there no mouse support it would make a few things a lot easier to navigate with but its a console port so what you expect but don't let that discourage you its a game worth playing so try it.

If you are looking for a city survival game with captivating story and tight mechanics that will challenge you to plan and adapt to the ever-changing scenario look no further. I can summarize the game in the following categories: Graphics: The art style and some tiny detail animations are present makes you want to admire your base. The UI is user friendly and easy to learn. Sound: Excellent soundtrack really matches the space vibes very atmospheric that’s not all the narrative in this game makes you feel immersive into the story. Gameplay: You have six sectors with limited space and interesting mechanics, especially in the late game where you can dedicate one of them for a specific resource type or whatever you see fit. There are plenty of resources to harvest and process. The game will keep you busy, you can also change the pace or pause it altogether. Difficulty: Now this depends on your difficulty settings, but the game is generally hard but not impossible consider creating multiple saves. Overall, I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a city builder with a challenge, good story, great visuals and soundtrack. Goodluck administrator!

I have no words to describe this game but if I have to put it in to one word AWESOME. This a platformer with roguelites at its finest. There are tons of weapons to unlock and combinations with perks to try out with traps and abilities. Not only that procedurally generated have a fresh lay out for you to traverse along with that you can not only just jump, but you can also roll, ramp the ground and double jump even triple jump depending on your chosen items and perks along with wall running what I have found so far. Graphics are retro but have a nice art design and the music is great very fitting to levels or biomes which you can choose initially where you want to go while some linear but as I said game has a lot to offer when it comes to content. There's also lots of skin customizations for your character as well that come with hidden loot and secrets if you manage to find them. Interestingly some smart references to other popular indie games with content related to them as well seems like the game had collaborations with other developers. Having said that there's a lot to explore so go wild find hidden secrets and levels you will be surprised! Lastly my only complaint is the slow progression overall but with a great game loop the game still manages to entertain for hours on end. One other important point is to note is that as the game suggests on the main menu it is recommend you play with a controller although I have played with the keyboard still manage to play with my own key bindings (I play it on a smaller laptop with limited keys and without the mouse input).

As someone played the all awesome super dodgeball on neogeo I never thought such a retro genre would make a comeback. If you are fan of dodgeball or looking for a fun game that has some crazy aspect to the sport well this game is for you. The gameplay is quite simple you dodge/deflect depending on the character, shoot and pull out a super move but the game has it own unique twists along the way with its unique modes, rpg and perk system. My only complaint not a fan of the key bindings on the keyboard and there's no way to change them either unfortunately but still it is something getting use to, by now I have. Luckily game can be played with controller and even has local multiplayer which is fun if you have family or a friend to play with although it would've been nice if you could play against bots as solo. But still you can via replaying the story and there's slight replay value to it in my opinion, you can choose any episode of your liking and if you are not a fan reading the dialogue again it can be skipped easily. For an indie game I would say there's decent amount of content and some exploration with side quests. The graphics are really nice I like the mash up of 2d characters and 3d background they truly compliment each other with the art style. The music also very fitting to the themes and vibes of the game. I didn't pay much attention to the story but it had some funny moments nevertheless I would highly recommend you give this game a try its easy to pickup and a lot of fun.

I am very new to the sniper game genre and was considering buying Sniper Elite but this game caught my attention I like the more modern look to it as compare to WW2 setting. Having said that I bought Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 first, while the game was ok but for some reason it felt out of place for me like it was trying to be something it wasn't. It also was buggy, icons on mini-maps won't dissapear even when you had the loot. It also took longer to load considering its an old game it didn't ran quite well and there was a lot of traveling in between empty towns that had literally blind npcs. It also suffered from bad writing and goofy dialogue at times too but the sniping mechanic was to die for I haven't came across anything like it sure I have played a lot of popular openworld fps like farcry series. But the gunplay and sinping in genral was more satisfying so I looked for something similar. Therefore I took a gamble bought this game the latest from the series. And I have to say I don't regret it basically improves everything in my opinion. So lets start with the story I felt more immersed as the story made a lot more sense. As someone from a country that is close proximity to the middle east, respect to the developers for having a more grounded story and forgiving narative as most games based on such settings tend to be not so much. In short it's relatable to some extent and interesting because it's fictional. The graphics and music is great really matches the theme and vibes. The gunplay is solid as ever although one complaint I would say is I liked the scope more in SGW3 where you can see the dials on the side of the scope but it's not really an issue. There are some minor bugs though, in one of the mission in Zindah I placed mines they would dissapear near a vehicle and the enemies would constanlty enter and exit the vehicle which was weird. Other than that it's a great experience is replayable with multiple things to unlock, explore and good level designs.

I had the opportunity to play this game during its early access phase, and it was already quite polished. Now that it’s officially released, I must say I’m thoroughly impressed with the developers’ efforts. The continuous updates and improvements they have made are truly commendable. While some people compare this game to the Heroes of Might and Magic (HOMM) series, I believe it stands on its own, offering a unique and rewarding experience. It may not reach the same heights as the HOMM series, but it doesn’t need to. This game has its own charm and strengths. The music is fantastic, the art style is beautiful, and the gameplay is incredibly addictive. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this game and highly recommend it to others.

I am not a big fan of wizard, wand or sorcery kind of stuff but this game somehow caught my interest. I was looking for a new game to play on GOG and saw this. At first, I didn't give much of a thought as I said I am not really into theme of fantasy but boy I was wrong. It was a BREATH OF FRESH AIR firstly I am a fan of roguelike and roguelites but the ones I played were mostly bullet hell or shooters likes of enter the gungeon, risk of rain 2, hades, roboquest, and gunfire reborn to name a few. Alright maybe those games do have some sort of magic going on, but Ziggurat stands out for me the music, the art style and the theme along with gameplay mechanics some might argue basically the same stuff, but I beg to differ. I was a bit concern whether I might have to play Ziggurat the original first, but it turns out you can straight dive in to this one instead it’s easy to pick up and play but I might give the original a run too. This is by far the fastest review I ever gave to a game on GOG. I wholeheartedly recommend the game it is just that good and fun. Lots of items, perks, powerups, wands, staves, and weapons to play with different game modes. Each run feels different with generated levels and unique rewards etc. so yeah, it’s a 10/10 from me.
I am quite new to BlazBlue and I am an old fan of fighting games. I have plenty of hours in Street Fighter, Tekken, and Mortal Kombat to name a few. After searching the entire store, looking for something entirely new, this game caught my eye at first, I didn't give it much of a thought but somehow bought it anyway since it was cheap. Then I launched the game had the fps locked at 30 so it was already giving me a bad impression, but I searched the internet. It turns out the game has a weird bug that locks it that way but once you restart your computer it goes back at being 60 fps. Well, I tried and restarted now getting consistent 60 fps no matter how many times I launch the game so it's a weird bug. First thing I want to say as a veteran of fighting games I did not buy this game for its story I was merely interested in its combat system and boy I was not disappointed let me explain but first let’s get the other stuff out of the way. The graphics are a sight to see well animated and beautiful along with great music score. The story can't say much about I somewhat followed it but skipped most of it it's seem ok. Now for the actual gameplay, where to start this game has characters who are distinct from one another in short, each character is a system you must learn. That is why I think some casual fans or button mashers might not find this game interesting or fun to play but each character has its own difficulty level. For that I personally recommend Jin. I also encourage you to read the manual because this is where the game feels short of a proper tutorial but thankfully there's training for you to try things out. You can pause the game see command list but there's more for you to discover like the different blocking system mentioned in the manual download it from 'Extras'. Lastly the controller support is there. I have a Xbox One S controller it works just fine although this game works surprisingly well with keyboard except for some combos but still doable.
