I've played plenty of survival games, and this one is by far one of the most interesting. The premise is simple: you are a wizard who starts with two wands and a potion, and you must survive the hostile environment, whether it’s NPCs or the elements. But there's more: at the end of each biome, you are given a choice to customize your wand. This is where experimentation comes into play. There are many ways to change how your wand behaves and functions. With that in mind, your creativity will make or break your run, and of course, like any other roguelike, you will die and lose everything. This means starting off fresh with random starting wands and potions. What I have observed so far is that you are given a lot of freedom, which is kind of odd because usually in this genre, you are confronted by a boss at the end of each level. In Noita, however, you need to find the boss, meaning you can actually just explore and miss the big fight entirely if you can survive, that is. Furthermore, the game is super hard, and the enemies are deadly, but don't let that discourage you. It can be very rewarding, so don't simply rush to the next biome; explore as much as you can. But take calculated risks and watch out for that health bar. As long as you make the necessary precautions when approaching enemies, you will be fine. You will eventually get to learn the mechanics better. The game only gives an intro in the beginning, but there's a lot more to it, so keep playing and good luck!

In "Yakuza: Like a Dragon," you step into the shoes of Ichiban Kasuga, a Yakuza with a heart of gold. In this new story he is driven by his ideals and circumstances, making him a truly lovable character. The game is designed to be accessible for newcomers, so you don't need to have played the earlier games to enjoy it, though you might not catch a few references that add extra flavor. Be prepared for a slow burn; the game demands patience with its lengthy cutscenes and gradual story development. It took me around 10 hours to write a proper review because the beginning unfolds at a deliberate pace. However, this methodical buildup pays off, introducing game mechanics organically along with the pacing of the story. Having played the previous Yakuza games, I understand that the new turn-based combat system might concern some fans. However, it successfully keeps the gameplay fresh while serving as an exciting spinoff in the franchise. It may take some getting used to, but once you're immersed in the game, there's no turning back – it's super fun. The game, like any Yakuza title, brilliantly captures both its serious and comical sides in equal measure. As a self-proclaimed completionist, I've spent a considerable amount of time diving into side quests and mini-games. While some players might progress faster, I found that these additional activities greatly enriched my overall experience.

I have to say game has an interesting concept that works most of the time, but I think its not meant for everyone. For starters it's roguelite you are going to inevitably die but will improve with upgrades or as in this game's case 'perks' so don't just start an entire new run without spending any credits which you will earn in each run. But the important feature is flight mechanic you need to master piloting your ship period. By that I mean learn how to ascend, descend, roll, dodge and flee. Yes, you can’t win all the time, this is all about survival. So, it is ideal to engage the enemies strategically using cover behind the rocks use alternative weapons and mods when underfired etc. It is nevertheless a learning curve but a rewarding one, the game recommends the keyboard and mouse which makes sense since most of the movement system is possible with that combination I have tried the controller but didn’t have much luck but its still doable. As I said before it seems with the controller there’s auto-roll your ship resets into default position on itself but it’s not really a bother, maybe a little distracting. The graphics and soundtracks are great and really give you those space vibes. I didn’t pay much attention to the story but its there seems alright I picked up a few things from the narration but you are not going to see some amazing cutscenes just not the actual focus of the game the case with any roguelites but its nice to have extras right? Overall, I highly recommend it’s a fun game with intuitive controls just watch out for enemies’ line of fire as long as you not under their crosshairs or in the opposite direction where they are shooting you should be fine.

The game is super hard but that is part of the fun you need to gamble your approach with certain loots like It’s like a tango between luck and skills. In my personal opinion someone who played a lot of roguelikes it doesn't have much content the amount of perks and weapons are clearly lacking but it's simple yet brilliant design makes up for it, the procedurally generated levels will force you to try something a little different each time. It definitely will take time to practice so don’t stress it the cursed items are optional you don’t have to necessarily pick them up and keep debuffing your character unless you want to take a gamble of course it comes with its own unique reward you make your character truly invincible but proceed with caution as you also greatly increase your chance of dying early. Overall great roguelike especially for those who want a challenge don't fooled by the silly music and graphics this game is unforgiving so have fun :)

The game is fun although I am not a fan of the controls it can be hard to control especially when you have a big mob. An example is on one of the maps I couldn’t avoid the traps and my troops kept dying with only attack and defend command with three formations(close normal and spread out), powerups and utility items game is still limited regarding what you can do. But nevertheless, it’s fun even when you have no idea what’s going on.

I give this game a full stars for the vibes alone I know I am probably being biased as some who likes hiking and trekking in real life and am surrounded by mountains. But something about this experimental roguelite works for me. As for the actual challenge, I find this game to be quite easy compared to other rogues that punish you on your first run you do have random events and death zones, but they are fairly easy to overcome. I was able to complete the first side mission quite with relative ease. I haven't played enough to give full overview of the difficulty as I was myself shuffling through all three difficulty modes Normal, Difficult, and Insurmountable. Unfortunately, you can change it once you have loaded your save until you create an entirely new one from scratch which is really annoying, but I advise that you start with the highest difficulty that the game is named after ‘Insurmountable’. Now as for the graphics, they are really nice, the UI is easy to use, and the music is great, really matches the tone and the theme of the game. If you want to take a break from all the hardcore stuff perhaps you just want to chill with some snacks and a drink in your hand, lucky for you can play this with the mouse alone.
