Initial Beta Changelog:

Singleplayer

Crashes

Fixed a crash that occurred due to the AI general formation not being positioned correctly at the beginning of siege battles.
Fixed a crash that occurred due to the animation system.
Fixed a crash that occurred after battles.
Fixed a crash that occurred due to being able to enter towns during a siege.
Fixed a crash that occurred due to a modding-related bug even after completely removing all mods / reinstalling the game.
Fixed a crash that occurred when the player was navigating through inventory, encyclopedia or party screen.
Fixed a crash that occurred when using mods that had dot characters in their module name.
Fixed a crash that occurred on PS5 due to a memory issue.

Fixes

Fixed a memory leak that occurred when returning to the main menu.

[PS] Fixed a bug that caused a save to get corrupted when overwriting save files.

[PS] Fixed a bug that prevented the deletion of corrupted save files.

[PS4] Reduced the save file limit from 32 to 16 to allow for larger files without corruption.
If you have more than 16 save files, this will not delete your files. It will only prevent you from creating new files until you are below 16 again. You can overwrite all existing files.

Changes

Siege Engine Changes

Decreased the minimum firing range of all mangonels, allowing them to shoot closer targets. This also makes higher walls not so detrimental for defending mangonels.

Regular mangonels with multiple projectiles
Increased the number of projectiles.
Decreased the single-hit damage of each stone.
Decreased the damage area of each projectile.
Regular mangonels are still effective against troops but no longer overshadow their fire mangonel counterparts.

Fire mangonels
Slightly increased the area of effect.
Increased the damage reduction towards the edges of the hit area.
Increased the hit damage of a projectile.
It’s harder to hit enemy engines or formations with them in comparison to the regular mangonel but the payout is much better. Not every unit hit by the fire mangonel will die due to the increased damage reduction towards the edges of the hit area.

AI targeting behaviour of mangonels
Mangonels now prioritize the battering ram and siege towers when choosing a target. Afterwards, they try to attack clumps of enemies.
Fire mangonels now primarily target enemy troops.

Trebuchets
Increased the number of projectiles.
Decreased the single-hit damage of each stone.
Decreased the damage area of each projectile.
We are working on further improvements to them.

Battering rams and siege towers
Increased the hit points of battering rams and siege towers (to compensate for the decreased mangonel minimum range).

AI behaviour of ranged siege engines
The AI now properly leads targets.
Improved the overall accuracy calculation, resulting in fewer over or undershooting.
Adjusted the target boxes of siege towers. Defending mangonels can now target them when they are closer.

Troop AI Changes
Attacking archers now use line formation spacing instead of tight formation spacing when taking positions.
Defending troops now start on walls as the siege begins.

Multiplayer

Crashes

Fixed a crash that occurred due to shield inverse kinematics not being fully synchronized with the server.
Fixed a server crash that occurred on crowded servers when picking up an item from the ground.

Offline Installers updated to EarlyAccess0.41.2R

Changelog from Steam (eliminated the part re:Steam Trading Cards)

CHANGELOG
Number of changes: 95
Inspired by community: 49%

Changes marked with ⚡ were inspired by the community.

New content and features
⚡ Added a new customizable game mode - Training Expeditions.
To put it plainly, a Training Expedition is a custom game. When starting one, you can select a biome, species, Forest Mysteries, resources, modifiers, embark bonuses, and game length (among other things).
All modifiers from the World Map, the Daily Expedition, and Prestige difficulties can be selected when starting a custom game.
Some modifiers might be contradictory (like Dangerous Lands and Forbidden Lands) and you won’t be stopped from picking them - but beware, they will not work together, so the game will probably only activate one of them (and remove the other one when starting a run).
You can change how much Reputation is needed to win. There are 4 settings for this:
10 points (quick game)
14 points (default game)
18 points (prestige game)
30 points (marathon)
You can also customize the maximum number of Impatience points. There are 5 settings for this:
2 points
4 Points
10 Points
14 Points (default)
30 Points
You can also change the speed at which Impatience is automatically generated:
0% per minute
26% per minute (default)
You can decide to enable or disable Blightrot, and choose between 5 levels of footprints/corruption (50%, 100%, 200%, 250%, 400%).
You can choose towns for Trade Routes, but they need to be on the World Map first.
You can freely choose the Forest Mysteries that will be active in a given game (or leave them to be randomly drawn).
If you like how a map looks, you can copy/paste its seed into the custom game UI. Seeds only influence glade layout, resource nodes, fertile soil, ore deposits, and events. Changing a custom game’s settings will also influence the map (so a seed will only give you the same result if all the other settings are the same).
Custom game settings can be saved into so-called templates. Every profile has 6 template slots.
To unlock Training Expeditions, you will need to buy the Obsidian Archive Level 10 upgrade in the Smoldering City.
Training Expeditions give no rewards and don’t influence the Blightstorm Cycle.

Balance
⚡ Rebalanced the Pottery and Wine order. Instead of building an Artisan and providing barrels, it now requires (drumroll, please) pottery and wine.
⚡ Moved the Destroyed Cage of the Warbeast glade event from Dangerous Glades to Forbidden Glades.
Overheating and Vassal Tax Forest Mysteries were temporarily removed from the game. We found them to be troublesome because of several reasons - lack of proper UI, balancing issues, and potential bugs. We want to take some time and redesign them.
Removed the Faster Building stat from the Vanguard Spire Level 5 upgrade. Added the Additional Caravan Choice reward instead (moved from the Obsidian Archive Level 10 upgrade).
We decided to replace this upgrade because the +10% construction speed change was a minimal and boring stat increase. With it out of the way, we feel that every node on the upgrade tree finally has at least one interesting reward, and we can focus on adding more levels in the future (instead of replacing existing ones).
Removed the Additional Caravan Choice reward from the Obsidian Archive Level 10 upgrade, and added the Training Expedition unlock instead.

UX/UI improvements
⚡ Improved the wording in the description of shelters and species-specific houses. Instead of saying “number of places: X”, the description now reads “can house X residents”.
⚡ Increased the speed at which the camera moves to selected buildings and glade events.
⚡ Camp icons in resource node panels are now ordered from advanced to small.
⚡ Changed the number color for some Hostility sources in the Hostility of the Forest tooltip (from green to red when the value is 0, so it's clearly visible which sources increase Hostility).
Updated some Encyclopedia entries with more up-to-date screenshots and videos.
Changed the icon for the Wet Soil Prestige modifier to avoid duplicates.

Bug fixes
⚡ Fixed a bug that caused villagers to stop working when being reassigned to the same worker slots too quickly.
⚡ Fixed a bug with demo saves being incorrectly transferred to the full version.
⚡ Fixed a bug that caused the Bed and Breakfast cornerstone to not give Amber on trader arrival.
⚡ Fixed a bug with the starting glade having an incorrect resource layout.
⚡ Fixed a bug with the delivery threshold in the internal storage exceeding the storage limit.
⚡ Fixed a bug with camps displaying “no deposits” alerts when the delivery threshold is set to 0.
⚡ Fixed a bug with the Like a Machine deed being possible to complete even after losing a game.
⚡ Fixed a bug with the Stormforged version of the Trade Negotiations cornerstone being drawn in games with a trade block effect.
⚡ Fixed a bug with the Forge Trip Hammer cornerstone applying its Resolve penalty to Workshop workers.
⚡ Fixed a bug where gaining multiple Reputation points would only decrease Impatience by 1.
⚡ Fixed an issue with Citadel Resource icons not being visible on modifiers right after expanding the draw distance on the World Map.
⚡ Fixed a bug with the Third Party modifier not working correctly.
⚡ Fixed a typo in the description of the Overexploration cornerstone.
⚡ Fixed a bug with the Temple of the Forsaken Gods daily modifier having an outdated effect (Reputation from Resolve block instead of additional Timed Orders).
⚡ Fixed a bug with the Hostility sound effect playing multiple times when gaining a lot of Hostility points.
⚡ Fixed a bug that causes the game to automatically unpause after choosing an Ethereal Cornerstone.
⚡ Fixed a bug with the Order reward tooltip staying on screen after finishing an Order.
⚡ Fixed an issue with camps displaying a “no workers” alert for a split second after being upgraded.
⚡ Fixed a bug that allowed players to turn off the Blighstorm Cycle animation and see the world generation process under it.
⚡ Fixed an incorrect percentage value in the Hunter-Gatherers perk preview icon.
⚡ Fixed an issue with the Ancient Practices perk showing too little information about its progress in its tooltip footer.
⚡ Fixed an issue with two buildings being permanently locked in the Encyclopedia (even if the player has unlocked all the content in the game).
⚡ Changed the name of one of the two Workstation Upgrade perks to avoid confusion (the one upgrading the Makeshift Post is now called Worker Mobilization).
⚡ Fixed a few typos and grammatical errors in English:
Local Taxes perk description.
Tooltip for sacrificing oil in the Hearth.
⚡ Fixed a few typos and grammatical errors in Japanese:
Frequent Caravans perk description.
Objectives for orders based on Standing levels with other towns.
⚡ Fixed a few typos and grammatical errors in French:
Label in the difficulty tooltip in the Embark Panel.
⚡ Fixed a few typos and grammatical errors in German:
Embark button text.
Score tooltip for Unity category.
⚡ Fixed a few typos and grammatical errors in Russian:
Trade Hub perk description.
Species Resolve tooltip.
Fertile Soil section in the Embark Panel.
“Alerts” header in the options menu.
Rotting Wood Forest Mystery description.
Zhorg’s intro text in the trader panel.
“Unlocked content” header in the level-up pop-up.
⚡ Fixed a missing translation in Polish for the Liquid Luck order.
⚡ Changed the name of the Foragers\ Camp in Korean.
Fixed a bug with one of the Dangerous Glades in the Cursed Royal Woodlands having fewer resource nodes than intended.
Fixed an incorrect label in the Quick Deliveries perk.
Fixed an incorrect label in the Shattered Obelisk modifier.
Fixed a bug with a missing visual effect on some buildings when they are hit by lightning.
Fixed an issue with the lightning effect being always active in the Stormbird glade event.
Fixed an issue with the water effect being always active in the Lumber Mill.

Other
⚡ Added one new music track to the game (The Marshlands, clearance season).
Added new sounds to all 8 traders in the game. Traders will now speak short phrases when opening the trader panel, making a sale, and closing the trader panel.

Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy

Updated from 1.3.1 to 1.3.2

Changelog from SteamDB:

Patch 1.3.2

This week we’re starting a little experiment with ‘episodes’, which are narrative sequences that can be spread out over multiple locations. Concluding an episode will lead to a special end screen where, depending on the exact outcome, you have the option to press on or return to Haven immediately.

There currently is only one of these episodes. It revolves around obtaining the Raaf Key from the garden. But to play it you need to generate a fresh world with the new ‘Experimental Content’ option activated. It probably could do with a slightly more pronounced start. But we haven’t figured out how to do that exactly. Also the content of this particular episode is subject to change.

Check out our Discord for a full overview of the changes, and more details about these new ‘episodes’.

Gameplay Changes

• The alignment of the keyboard can now be set to for options: camera, level, level (rotated), and mouse cursor.
• Magic from ruinous sprites can be used to destroy broken gates.
• Reduces the number of rats and bats spawned from ‘hollow trees/rocks’.
• Rats and bats spawning from ‘hollow trees’ are no longer triggered by you just being in the same room.
• During the prologue you cannot encounter hazards enroute to Haven, and once you get there you can only enter the town.
• Improving posture and feedback for sleeping creatures.
• The Hall of Records is now a more impressive location.

New Features

• A new minor spider lair encounter.
• Adds a dozen or so new ‘minor puzzles’ that might need to be dealt with in order to progress.
• New status effect: Watched
• New status effect: foul smell
• New sprite: Clarity
• New scroll: Chant of Slumber
• Adds a new, once per run, code for the pray for help menu: ‘Regenerate’
• Adds a button leading to the discord server on the pray for help menu.

Experimental Features

• ‘Raaf Key’ Episode, which seeds an encounter in the inn in Haven and adds dramatic developments to the Garden of Yendor.

Bug Fixes

• Shadow wolves are not the default encounter of a specific cave template. (It now is a rare encounter as it is supposed to be.)
• Fixing an issue with reading books like “The First Valley” in other locations.
• Raaf tribune asset can no longer block the entrance to the Hall of Records.
• Changes behavior of a debug report a little, so that hopefully the right folder with the relevant zip files are opened correctly.
• Fixes an bug with ‘projected encounters’ that caused encounters on the road to be less varied and not reflective of nearby enemies than they should have been.

dV: Rings of Saturn

Updated from 0.595.2 to 0.596.5 on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Same for the demo.

Changelog posted in the forum by the developer:
0.596.5 - Cloaking Devices

Cloaking Devices Debunked
Reports of cloaking device being used by entities operating within rings were debunked earlier today, as an independent investigation held by miners guild concluded. After carefully examining the ship logs data across multiple ships, investigators found that the reports of stations “appearings in the thin air” can be mainly attributed to user errors. While the intoxication of the crew was raised as a likely reason, no biometric logs could be used to prove or disprove it, and this thread of investigation was abandoned.

Wave Patterns in the Rings
Meta-analysis of multiple telescopic images cross-referenced with a vast array of LIDAR data submitted by individual spaceship captains allowed researchers to form new hypotheses on the formation of macroscopic wave patterns within the rings. A well-known phenomenon where the average density of particles within the rings visible on the macroscopic scale tends to form waves of high and low-density areas was previously attributed to gravitational effects. Still, most recent discoveries suggest that electrostatic forces present within the ring plane could significantly impact the phenomenon.

Lidar ranges Extended by Software Update
Runasimi Inc, the leading supplier of white-label LIDAR signal processing hardware, released a new software update package for their R68050 phase-processing chip. Further increased base frequency and improved noise filters promise to improve the LIDAR detection range even on existing hardware and are reported to raise the device's effective range by over 300%.

Maintenance Logs
- Adjusted the ice generation and exploitation routines. An emergent interaction between the spawning routines and the exploitation grid shape caused wave formations to appear inside rings. While this emergence was welcome and confirmed by most recent discoveries about the density patterns inside rings, the emerged features were bigger than expected. To counteract this, the exploitation map resolution is now 300% bigger, reducing wave formations' size by 300%. As a side-effect, your save file can take up to 270kB more disk space.
- Anomalies will not spawn within your visual range anymore. While more minor anomalies were not noticeable, an occasional asteroid-based station decloaking a few hundred meters from your ship could be jarring.
- Increased the range of your LIDAR - it will now be able to detect ice and anomalies further away from your ship.
- Lidar display on your OMS menu in the Pilot and Geologist tab will now present high-albedo (shiny) objects in the same pulsating manner as your main HUD LIDAR.
- Changed the scaling function for your OMS LIDAR displays to ensure that they will show the same range, even if you use non-standard resolution or increase the HUD size.
- Adjusted the synthetic siren of AT-K225.
- Points of interest exposed by your crew could contain the same event that was already discovered, which in some situations would look like stations you already know about moved through the rings faster than your ship.

Knights of the Chalice 2

Updated from 1.54 to 1.55 for Windows and Mac.

Changelog from SteamDB:

Knights of the Chalice 2 Version 1.55

Greetings, Dear Knights of the Realm!

Here's a small update for KotC 2 that fixes a number of bugs I was informed about recently, including the AI bug with Grapple attacks.

It also adds one new spell for Druids and Storm Warriors: Boulder Strike (spell level 5).

It's somewhat like the level-3 Druid spell Turn Pebble to Boulder, but the new spell has a 40' line area of effect, and the damage increases when a target's elevation is lower than that of the caster (+1d6 points of damage for every five feet of elevation below that of the caster). Please note: the area of effect of Boulder Strike increases by 10 feet for Earth Druids.

I'm envisioning some fiendish scenarios with improved Earth Elementals standing on cave ledges and using a Boulder Strike Spell-Like Ability against the player characters below. ^_^

Please don't hesitate to email me at enquiries@heroicfantasygames.com if you find any more bugs and annoyances. A saved game may be very helpful, too.

Thank You So Much For Your Stalwart Support!! Enjoy :-)

List of changes in Knights of the Chalice 2 Version 1.55

• Added the new Druid / Storm Warrior spell Boulder Strike.
• Fixed a bug with infinite enemy grapple attacks from enemies that have the feat Greater Grapple. This was due to the recent change in the feat Greater Grapple.
• In the Feat selection screen, when right clicking on the feat Improved Throw Creature, this would open the help entry for Improved Grapple. The game will now open the correct help entry.
• In Augury of Chaos, given the 'Rush to the Enemy' AI setting to the Mimics of the Lower Sewers.
• Fixed a source of crashes when the AI tries to cast Chromatic Orb and the caster's level is above 20. Also fixed the Chromatic Orb damage when the caster level is above 20.
• Fixed a bug with enemy Mage Knights not making use of the feat Phase Spells.
• Improved the in-game help entries for Dexterity, No Dexterity Bonus to AC, Flat-Footed, Falling, Balancing, Bull Rush, Trip, and Earth Sphere.
• Fixed a display bug when mousing over the list of party-member names in the top-right corner of the main view.
• Fixed a tooltip display issue in the Module Editor when mousing over creatures.
