Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy

Updated to 1.6.11

Changelog from SteamDB:

Patch 1.6.11 Replaces travel hazard levels with travel fortune effects

This patch fixes a couple of bugs and makes a couple of quality of life improvements. The biggest one would be a redesign of the ‘hazards’ travel fortune. Instead of a small level you need to navigate it now is a significant travel effect which is much quicker to resolve.

Gameplay Changes

• Innkeepers and roadhouse keepers have a much better chance of selling cooking gear.
• When you rest at an inn or another similar safe spot, you automatically refill your water skins.
• Haven now has a well.
• If you are in a settlement you can start traveling directly from the map.
• Hazards have been reworked into a significant, hard to counter map effect instead of an en-route level that acted too much as an annoying speed bump.

Bug Fixes

• Roots triggered by other creatures don’t always increase the ‘angry flora’ threat.
• Fixes issue with passages to other levels on the ‘northern’ edge of a map (caused issues in lake levels, the garden of Yendor and other locations)
• Creates enough room in the small rooms of Marang ruins to fit both a teleporter and a forge.
• Replacing a missing staircase in 1 out of 9 Marang keeps.
• Cleaning up the controller button prompts on the map.

A hotfix update for Roboquest is available (Offline & GOG Galaxy).

Hotfix 1.1.1 (February 19, 2024)
Hello everyone!

This sounds more like a coldfix than a hotfix considering the amount of time elapsed since the last update, but eh, here we are.

We've been reported multiple multiplayer issues for the past weeks and we've been working on it (probably slower than what you expected, but we're doing what we can).

There are 2 major issues:
- Infinite “Loading Session ID”
- Disconnected while playing multiplayer with someone from another platform

There are probably other smaller issues as well, but it’s hard to isolate them as long as these two above keep happening.

So we focused on fixing those first and foremost. Though unfortunately, we’re unsure if the fix will actually work (since we can’t reliably reproduce those issues internally). But we have good hopes it will.

We apologize for the issues you've been facing and we'll be continuing to monitor them. Please, keep the feedback coming as well and let us know if the multiplayer issues have been solved for you.

Finally, we also implemented a speculative fix for [redacted] which was lagging behind (or not moving at all) for the client players.

That's it for today!

Have a great week guardians, we hope you'll be able to kick some metal ass in multiplayer this time around!

Better AI opponents awaits you!
19. February 2024

Hello Leaders,

We have good news for you! A new update of our beloved Through the Ages is available in your favorite stores. What’s changed?

• We improved AI opponents based on your feedback. So, all AIs should react better to current situations.
• Inconsistency errors should be rare in online games. Because of that, we decided to lock the game when an inconsistency error appears. That helps our support team fix it quickly for you so you can continue playing without more damage. If the error occurs in a blitz game, players can change that to an asynchronous one, wait for the support, and finish the game afterward. We hope that improves your experience in online games.

We would like to thank all players who gave us feedback and suggested any improvements to deliver this update to everyone! Your help is more than appreciated!

Tunguska: The Visitation

Updated to 1.78-9

Changelog from SteamDB:

Headshots Are Coming!

Ever since the game was released, many folks have asked for headshot mechanism. The game had headshots but it was simulated - when you land a hit on the NPC, it just rolls a dice to get a headshot and you also don't really know when it happens.

But now, I have finally found a way to make headshots more satisfying! But here's the catch: if you are playing with the gamepad or the "ChaseCam" control scheme, headshots are still going to be simulated with a dice roll, because the aim is automatic and there's no way to fix the aim on the head. So the new manual headshot mechanism only applies to the other control schemes where you can aim with your mouse.

Also, headshots only apply to HUMANs in the game. I'm not yet sure whether I want to implement headshots for ghouls since they are supposed to be more tanky, and there hasn't been any headshot mechanism ever (even simulated one) for them.

So if you are aiming with mouse, it's best to use a laser sight to make sure the aim is on point. If you land a hit on the head, you'll see the solid circle/dot showing up on your crosshair and you'll hear a different hitmarker sound. If the enemy's head is protected by helmet, you'll hear a metal hitmarker sound. Headshots does 1.5x the damage and it can be combined with critical hits.

Be aware though - if you aim for the head there's still a chance that the shot misses. If you miss the head, you will either land a body shot, or simply no hit at all. So there's a risk to going for headshots. It's best to go for it while enemy is standing still and unaware. Since it's a new feature, I'm sure there are aspects of headshots that can be improved upon. Please let me know your feedback:)

*snip*

Some other fixes added to 1.78-9:

• Fixed a major bug with human NPCs unable to sprint due to a change I added a week earlier. This would prevent them from hiding behind covers while attacking you.

• Fixed a bug with player movement becoming all jumpy after performing a power melee attack while crouching.

• Current motorcycle and railroad handcar locations will now be displayed when you open the travel dialogue (like when you try to travel to another area)

• Arm strength requirements for guns will now be displayed as an attribute

• Scream attacks from ghouls will now have a damage cap of 50 instead of potentially killing you outright.

• Scream attacks will now show blood spatter on the screen if player is hit by it

• "Air puff" explosions from ghouls will no longer penetrate walls

• Added navmesh obstacles on loot boxes so that NPCs don't walk through them

• Various fixes for slaughterhouse mode

Vagrus - The Riven Realms

Updated to 1.1600214K for Windows, Linux and Mac.

Changelog posted by the developer in the Steam forum:

Build 1.160.0214K - Feb 15, 2024.

Changes to ‘Pilgrims of the Wasteland’

NOTE: Based on player feedback, these changes are aimed at re-balancing the scenario in a way that it won’t cause a “game over” where we do not intend to do so. We might tweak it further in the future.

• We added more ways to earn money between settlements after the investigation in Avernum.
• Added a possibly recurring Event after the last of the three Abolitionist camps that warns players if they have too few Fighters/Outriders for the final fight, possibly saving them a long journey in vain.
• Morale losses were slightly tweaked in Events until you reach Avernum.
• The default camp options were changed so that players who don’t switch them won’t lose Vigor and Morale daily.
• The Lock button on the Camp UI is locked until reaching Avernum to prevent players from accidentally burning Supplies during the initial journey.
• Following the last tutorial message, a new one will appear, informing players that the tutorial part of the scenario is completed and what to expect from the rest of the scenario.

Other fixes

• The in-game bug reporting tool now remains responsive when pressing the “Send” button.
• The Cetus and the Ambuscade gift options were fixed and will now provide the proper gifts at both times, respectively.
• Another soft-lock during the quest “Prince’s Commissions” was fixed (connected to delivering Exquisite Weapons).
• Fixed some anomalies connected to leveling up Companions – you will not lose Proficiency Points without getting the selected Perk levels (this could happen in certain combinations of language, Companion, and Skill/Perk selected).
NOTE: We won’t fix lost points retroactively in this patch but we have plans to do so in an upcoming one!
• The location artwork for River Umbra Bridge was fixed. Again. For real, this time.
• Fixed several typos and inconsistencies in Events and on the UI.

Thanks, cheers,
