Actually you can since GOG did not remove the classic version from the original download page on every non english site. So to download you simply need to change your langauge from english to any other language (which is not a problem since the language itself is applied with the language packs only - the base game is identical). It is by far not ideal or logical or customer friendly ... but it is possible. Fun fact: since the same applies to the GOTY release in which they have ALSO fixed the classic links you have the game twice to download here. GOG should take a good look at this mess and clean it up a bit :)

Adjusted cloak field mechanic. When using more than one cloak field generator, once the cloak field is established, turning off one of the cloak modules will collapse the field until the second active module can spawn a new one.
Adjusted the naming of the Active Shield modules, from booster to re-charger to help avoid confusion with passive modules of the same name.
Adjusted mining and salvage drones AI to check if the parent ship has cargo space to continue operations. If not, they will return to the parent ship but remain active on their task. Clearing cargo will send them back to work.

This is still being tested, so if you run into any issues, please report. You will find a copy of this file insode the default MOD folder. Just move it up a folder to Astrox_Imperium_data to activate.

- Added new title screen menu with animated background and props. This new centered version should function better with larger resolutions and other odd display sizes.

- Added new system for scaling the windows on resolutions larger than 2k. The new system will now adjust the width of each panel window based on the overall width of the display. This will keep things focused more in the center of the screen, but allow for some scaling room. The way that the UI scaling in options will adjust these panels will allow for more control over how the UI is displayed across all display resolutions.

* Removed a large chunk of unused assets from the build repositories associated with the project. This should decrease some of the required resources when launching the game. This may however increase some of the 'first time loaded' screens. i will be monitoring this on the forums and discord channels for any issues that may popup. Hopefully this will improve the overall stability of the game once I get the kinks worked out. Bare with me, I will hotfix any major issues within hours.

The first HOTFIX is now live.
We have addressed certain concerns and issues which were possible to implement at this point in time.
We’ve also prepared the Witchcraft Starter Kit down below. We wouldn’t want you to be an easy target in BLACKTAIL’s woods.

HOTFIX notes:

- Various bug fixes, crashes and potential blockers.
- Yaga's starting Vitality has been increased.
- Additional tutorial reminders for the controls and movement.
- New Game+ tweaks. You now get bonus resources - teeth and shelloks - and carry over your Map, Collectibles, and Almanac entries.

FAQ

Don’t forget to dash

The first skill you get is a crucial one. Dashing - Mouse button 3 or 5 (RB) - at just the right moment should keep you from harm, provided your timing is on point. It’s also the best way to enhance your traversal.

Use Hokuses. Often

Press [F] (R3) to use Deflect Hokus for pushing back enemies and breaking obstacles. Hold [F] (R3) to perform a Sunlight/Leech Hokus - linked to your current moral stance.

The Broom is your best friend in combat!

The Broom not only acts as a decoy by luring enemies, but it also grows ever more powerful the more defined Yaga’s character becomes. Comes in handy also during boss fights. Press [Q] (Y) once you have this ability.

Special treats

By combining the power of The Gauntlet with her marksmanship prowess, Yaga can perform maneuvers far beyond any ordinary hunter’s array. Hold LMB (RT) and then press [F] (R3) to perform the Special treat.

Save haven

Use Shrines often, there is also an auto-save system to keep your progress in crucial moments.

Berries

Berries have healing properties and grow in various places, including boss areas.

The Hut

Don’t hesitate to use Cataportation and return to The Hut. Brew Elixirs, unlock new Skills, and activate your Hexes. Take a stroll through the yard, make it a home for your Toads. Get into power and ease yourself into this big adventure!

Explore the world

There’s plenty to explore in BLACKTAIL. Roam the world and keep your eyes wide open. Hold [R] (B) to hide the bow and move faster. Use the Map and Compass, switch between the main quest and side quests in your Journal - look for Resources and Lost Pages.

Adventure or Story mode?

You can change the difficulty level during your journey. The initial choice is not definitive, adjust it to your preferences on the fly. Remember to have fun :)

Hey! Yarden GRIME director here, this is the 2nd post-CoR bug fixing Patch.
Most issues with Pre-DLC saves should now be fixed, including warp issues and the NPC new quest.
In addition all achievements should now be fully functional once more, as well as the majority of annoyances!

Bug fixes:

- Fixed issues with the Prey Gauntlet.
- Game settings should no longer be reset with each new update.
- Player occasionally getting stuck in a "falling pose" while walking around in certain spots.
- Pullable teeth now correctly block traps in Feaster's Lair.
- Vase NPCs on top of Lithic should now work as intended.
- Fixed an issue causing Flowerheart to take excessive damage.
- Fixed the Flowerhead display graphic.
- Interaction text wont show 'Default' any more.
- Flowerhead Icon fixed.
- Wrong item and prey texts fixed as well as some other typos. Other languages will follow in a later update.
- The mouse cursor should no longer disappear when entering a Surrogate while a controller is connected but is inactive.

Pre-DLC endgame save bug fixes:

- Peak of Creation added back to old saves.
- Unlock several Surrogates for players who have defeated Shidra before the DLC update to compensate for a related issue.
- Listener quest should now resume. Affected players need to go to the Misbegotten Amalgam arena to correct the issue.
- You will no longer be able to pick up the Strand of the Child when continuing an end-game save.

Balancing:

- Pincer Glaive adjusted: More damage on special per stack but lower stack gain per hit.
- Electric platforms in Childbed should be more forgiving now.

We expect to upload another patch by the end of next week which will focus on lower priority bugs as well as some some more complex tweaks, and hopefully with that close the lid on the new DLC bugs so we can focus on the next one.

VERSION 1.5.3 (changelog)

UI & GRAPHICS

- It's now possible to skip the 'Zoom and Shoot' space combat animation by pressing the 'spacebar' or 'Escape' keys, or by pressing any mouse button when the animation starts (I remind that this animation can be disabled in the 'Game Settings').
- Zoom level '0' now shows a bit more of the map. The step from zoom level '1' to '0' was too small.
- The fleet icon that is displayed in the galaxy map when fleets are travelling is now crisper at the lower zoom levels (when map is seen more from afar).
- Ships in the ship leaders' assignment panel are now listed by ship class, as before, but then they are sorted by travelling state (stationed or travelling), then by the system name, and finally by ship crew experience. This way, the player can know where all ships of a given class are stationed, or if they are travelling to a certain system (all listed next to each other). And, from those, finally see which have the best crew XP when assigning a ship to a leader.
- Stationed ships now show the stationed "shield icon" while travelling ships show the "ship travelling icon" in the ship leader assignment panel. Before, ships that were stationed, but had a destination set, showed the stationed "shield icon", which could be confusing.
- The Space Elevator bonus is now only displayed on buildings and ships where it applies. Before, the bonus would be listed as "+0" for all construction projects, irrespective if the Space Elevator applied to that project or not, which could be misleading.
- When a leader with the 'Envious' trait requests another leader to be dismissed, the text now clarifies that the leader in question will be immediately dismissed if the envious leader's request is accepted.

Evolving Empires

- Space monsters are no longer listed in the ship leader's assignment panel when playing with the 'Palacean' evolution affinity (space monsters join the empire with this evolution perk). Leaders couldn't be assigned to monsters anyway, so listing them there was not needed and would unnecessarily clutter that screen.


BUG FIXES

- Fixed a bug that was causing the Helium-3 amount to not be sorted correctly in the strategic resources overview panel.
- Fixed a wrap issue in the research value displayed for the Accretion disks bonuses in the strategic resources overview panel.
- Fixed an issue when offering Antimatter in a trade deal it didn't refresh the overview panel with the updated values (e.g. loss of production due to losing source(s) of antimatter).
- Fixed a glitch that would cause the "happy peaceful" music tunes to play when a 'Peace Treaty' proposal was made, even when it was rejected. It should only play the "happy" tunes when the treaty is accepted.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the AI to not use all of its weapons in combat when the ships rotated or were preparing to flee in the next turn.
