Be aware, this update has been crashing the game on Steam. According to the Steam discussions, this update is in large part Bethesda adding libcurl and telemetry data. Reported changes to the tos also indicate Bethesda is saying they require a "persistent internet" connection to be able to play the game. (Don't know if this exact same happens to the GOG update or not, but it has come at the same time.)

Per the Steam discussion:

It seems to include when you start the game, and a message once every 2 minutes. It includes an id for the game, platform, session, and you.

Basically, Bethesda can tell how many times you launch the game, which platform you launch it on, and (roughly) how long each of those sessions last. I don't think there is anything else. There are fields for IP address, but it seems like they are are unused.<<

For some updating the Stats mod fixes the crash, for others a solution seems to be:
>>1) Backup the following files;

installscript.vdf (Main Folder before Binaries Folder)
Dishonored.exe (Binaries/Win32/Dishonored.exe)
dxgi.log (Binaries/Win32/Dishonored.exe) (Not Sure if Needed but I Did it because it changed)

2) Install Update

3) Delete libcurl.dll (Binaries/Win32/libcurl.dll)

4) Copy / Paste / Override Backup Files to Proper place

5) Create BackupFolder and Copy / Paste The 3 Files Into it For Future Reference.

Game is Back to Normal and Works Fine Again.<<

This update includes the latest FNA framework libraries, a couple Steam Deck improvements, as well as the ability to set a custom key for the console.

Tilde is not convenient for everyone's situation, so now you can set your own key via the game's config file in the Steam folder. I will try to eventually add an in-game option to change it, but in the meantime just browse to your Chasm folder (default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Chasm), open the config.ini file with Notepad, and add the line "ConsoleKey=F5" to the bottom and save.

I hope you've been enjoying the CoR DLC so far!
Unfortunately, the new content brought some significant new bugs with it. This patch is the first one aimed at ironing out those issues as quickly as possible!

Bug fixes:

- Fixed Controller rebinding.
- Fixed bug of not being able to GROW using a controller.
- Pull inconsistencies with certain bosses have been fixed.
- Significantly reduced the cost of Piercer trait to a more appropriate level post DLC.
- Added an absorbable part to Walker so you could get their Trait.
- Added a respawning Walker to Childbed.
- Buffed Maker Lightning damage on Spinesword & Spineaxe.
- Fixed some Camera volumes to better aid in guiding platforming challenges.

We will keep patching the game with mainly bug fixes over the course of this coming week, including the numerous issues with the Prey Gauntlet.

I'm sorry for these issues, we'll do what ever we can to make sure you won't have to wait long for a fix.

Please keep posting your issues to our forums. Any additional information such as images, but especially videos, would help us immensely to get these problem solved faster!

Once we feel like the game is in a good technical state once more, I'll start preparing some updates to the next DLC in the works (NG+) and how different it is from other games.
