The dead silence of the night is interrupted by an enormous CRASH

Peeves, the poultergeist, is bouncing along the ceilings of the mazelike corridors bellowing,

"HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY

BIRTHDAY JOE JOE JOE!"

Professor ZFR chases him about the Stanley for an hour and half before he manages to evict him.

"Sorry about that folks. hope you enjoy the rest of your stay." He calls as he wrestles the spirit back through the smashed window.

Suddenly the lights flicker to life and then stay on. It seems to be what passes for "Day" here in the Hotel. Slowly you get up and peek out of the rooms in which you were hiding. You all gather in the entrance hall. ... Wait. You all? No! One is missing. Joe didn't appear and yet you remember him throwing a party Yesterday all alone in his room. Perhaps he is hung over? Quickly you go to check on him.

The door is locked and there is no reply. You have to break the door down but when you get it open, the stench of blood hits you. Two of you retch into the nearest flowerpot. The entire room is splattered with blood and Joe lies on his mattress, hacked to pieces with an axe.

On the wall, in one curiously blood-free spot, hangs a new portrait of Joe with a plaque below reading:

JoeSapphire is dead. He was Shorty Meeks, Town Vanilla.

Quickly you close the door again and try to forget what you saw in there. The killer is still among you. Or even several killers. You are still all in mortal danger and the snow storm is still raging on. You feel all the portraits in the hotel halls watching you as you prepare for another Day.

Another thing is strange. Did that guy not look completely different Yesterday? After a while you realize, nah, he's just wearing different clothes. The one among you who used to wear heavy protective equipment and a face-mask, is now wearing dapper pilot clothes, cap and glasses. But underneath that, it's still the same person.

Hmm, I have to check all Joe's posts again. I don't remember any solid accusations towards others.
Also I don't find it natural that ZFR and GameRager both voted for Zazak even though that bandwagon was almost empty.
And SirPrimalform' vote for Genocide to the very end seems completely out of place.

There were 3 votes + 1 from gogtrial which he used for "balancing" both wagon, he changed his vote later, but not you nor GameRager even though GameRager mentioned that he would be happy to change it later.

It wouldn't have stayed there, but when I came online I was half an hour too late after gogtrial's surprise hammer. I was honestly still on the fence about Carradice but I wouldn't have allowed a no-lynch.

By the way, Carradice was a Neutral Haunter which I assume means he was not on a team? I was ready to award town points but I'm having second thoughts. It's in scum's interest to get rid of neutrals so it's not really AI, although it does suggest they're skilled.
