Man, I loved 8 Eyes! I don't think I ever beat it either. Very challenging game, but so much fun to play. ^_^

That's how I remember it, too. Were there ever any sequels, successors, or spiritual successors to 8 Eyes?

Earlier, when Dungeons II went up, for a brief moment my screen just had text before a picture and all I read was "Dungeons" and thought, "It's finally happening!"

Ultimately, 8 Eyes was heavily inspired by the first two Castlevania games, so those would be the closest things to spiritual successors (or spiritual predecessors, as it were). The developer of 8 Eyes only made one more game, but it was nothing like 8 Eyes. It is a Japan-only RPG on the SNES called <span class="bold">The Legend of Maten</span>.

It doesn't look like it. The main list still shows that only the first 3 days had new games. 'Which is kinda disappointing.
