Does anyone know whether there is any kind of additional patch for the original Seed of the Dead? All I can find is the one for the sequel. Just trying to make an informed buying decision.

As for the new flood of Kagura games there are actually a few that do look interesting as they're not just yet another generic RPGmaker game clone with some more actiony gameplay:
- Succubus Affection
- Ruins Seeker
- Magical Swordmaiden

I'm sorry, but one was never made. It simply does not exist. Also, do not buy it. It sucks. Buy the sequel. Improves upon it in every way.

I played it, it's a nice little game, but just not polished, too unstable. I lost my progress a couple of times, then I lost my patience with it. Once it's done and ready ... sure, why not?
Thes One man UE4 projects sadly often don't reach a certain quality to be 'final' and ready for sale.
Haven't tried it myself. It was just mentioned here in the forum once, looked it up and thought it looked 'interesting'...

It's a mediocre action game from a 3rd person view, almost hack and slay , you have some roleplay elements, stats, loot chests and so on. ... and you play a succubus which you can dress accordingly, also your companion can be dressed up.
For a project with so few people involved it's not bad, but losing the progress is a no go. Every other bug I can live with, but having to restart over and over ... no.
If we want more 3D adult stuff, I would rather nominate The Last Barbarian or The VIking's Daughter. Also nothing exceptional, but those would be something our crusaders can rant against. She WIll Punish Them has no adult content.

TheGrimLord: The devs of Fresh Women announced that they're going with Blender for the next season, but the project creator of that is a 12 year industry guy who wants to go anonymous. So yeah, that will be 3D in the vain you want. You'll just have to play Fresh Women S1 in Daz3D to get the story. Very good writing on this one.
It's actually on my todo list, haven't found the time yet. It's one amongst many "3dcg" games (mostly visual novels with prerendered images), not many dare to do something in realtime 3d.

I think I'll stay far, far away. Some of that shit is beyond vile.

I'd honestly love an Ignore button on gog.

Edit: I have nothing against gog selling h-games in general, but having the option to set games as hidden that cross the line (for me) would be great.

MarkoH01: Tried to watch this review but because of all the picture replacements it was quite hard to watch. Anyway - I've played Evenicle now about 80 hours and I guess I am in the final chapter and still really like it. So far there has been two or three scenes in the whole game that I would consider a bit too extreme - the majority of the game though is about living and fighting in a world in which polygamy is allowed (for some) without reducing the women that participate in such a relationship to sex toys. The main character in fact thinks that sex can only be good when it is consentual. So while it still might not be a game for you, don't make the mistake that it would glorify raping and torturing women at all. Btw: the two sisters the main character wants to marry are not his sisters at all, he just calls them sisters because he grew up with them. In the first scene they make clear that they are not related.
Thanks for the clarification.
I'll look at a story synopsis to get a clearer picture, but from the couple scenes mentioned by Sseth I think I dislike the content too much even if the extreme scenes are a rare occurance.

Apparently the second game isn't as grim. :)

I've said it many times in the past, a filter option according to game tags would benefit everyone and harm no one. It'd let people tailor the store experience to be more aligned with the sort of games they enjoy. For example, I love RPGs but let's say I'm not so keen on sports games (something GOG doesn't have a lot of but this is just for the point). With a filter, I could just exclude sports games from the list and make it more about RPGs and games with RPG mechanics. It goes so far beyond excluding NSFW games like this, really, but helps in that case as well.

It may be in your best interest to skip the entire eroge genre because there is a lot of this kind of thing in most of it. It's not really seen as something creepy or harmful in Japan, but puts off a lot of westerners. If you like Japanese art in games, I would just stick to the non-adult versions of them in your case. It's not for everyone.

TheGrimLord: Alternate Dimansion Diary - Again, this is not an RPG. But it is a goddamned masterpiece. I've bought this game twice already and may buy it again here. It plays up horror, but the ghosts and monsters in it want to pleasure you. There are no CG scenes, really - everything is shown with the regular sprites and dialogue. The graphics are not very good, but what they do with this game, like making you solve puzzles and freaking you out to make you think it is horror and that someone is gonna get you - amazing. The only Kagura I have actually finished and enjoyed so much I played it in one sitting. It also has an epilogue with a neat twist. Perfect for Halloween.
DiMansion looks quite interesting for what I saw but current price is still too high for me to justify buying 3 hours long game. Added to wishlist though.

Fully agreed, it's just funny that a lot of people seem to come out with the filter cry for those kind of games.
As if any other kind of game they don't like they have no problem ignoring, except these......weird no ?;)

But yes aside that absolutely for filters, there's a ton of stuff I don't need to be shown over and over.
