I remember playing it on console when it came out. It was fun, until I got stuck trying to kill some baddie. Never could do it, gave up. Wouldn't mind giving it another go now, but not at that price.

Ehrlich gesagt wäre mir die Sperrung des Forums sogar weitgehend egal. Und da Deutschland der größte Spielemarkt in der EU ist, werden sie uns nicht komplett aussperren. :)

Yeah, I want to know which engine that game uses as well. Does it use either OpenGL or DirectX?

Not sure how the GOG version runs, but when I got this game brand new, I stayed up all night till 11am in the morning to finish it. Of course, that was 10 or so years ago... These days I couldn't do that (meds)

This game does look interesting, but it looks like it needs a contrtoller or joystick. And the price is not helping much considering the age of the game.

Most likely the cost of implementing a working and law-proof age verification system are higher than the estimated revenue. So it's more than annoying, but since GOG is no charity, sadly comprehensible.
I see, it's a shame nonetheless. Age verification isn't that hard to add, it's not that it hasn't been done before elsewhere ;) However, I won't hold my breath on this, because GOG doesn't seem to be too fast in development of their own stuff. Isn't Galaxy still in beta as well?

While I wait for this to go on sale I have Techland's Call of Juarez trilogy - none of that Cartel garbage, thank you very much - to keep me busy in my wild west shooting, tooting, rooting... something something. All three for only $11, too. ;)

It is really a shame that Red Dead Redemption never made it to PC. I would snap it up in a heartbeat if Rockstar decided to port it retro-actively, even after having thoroughly completed it on a PS3 some years back.
