Venom: In which games are you having issues with screenshots? Please let me know, and we'll investigate the issue.

omega64: Well, it's true not all games support screenshots as the overlay isn't supported by all games (yet?)
Ugh... I totally forget about this...

Thanks for your reply. As omega64 it made me remember Galaxy overlay isn't supported by all games, and its quite awful rely in other game client to take SS. I suppose its a long long way until all and every single game would be supported but its sad how Galaxy is unable to simply take screenshots... I really don't care about achievements but screenshots :/

PD: Dear admin, I accidentally marked omega64 answer as spam but it is NOT! Was a mistake!
Have the same problem. Need to wait more than 20 minutes to run the application.
Processes are running, the client and an updater. I guess there is something wrong with an updater, each time I get "Update error".
can someone help me tho everytime i try to make a new post on the forums *not a reply* it wouldnt show up even after a day i really hate this so if i can get a reply on the solution for this it would really be appreciated

Thank You

edit: nevermind i fixed the issue

I have noticed strange behaviour of Galaxy in Spellforce 3. Both game and Galaxy have F12 key for taking screenshots. If Galaxy is also running it tries to take screenshot as well but it is saved (to Galaxy screenshots folder) as a black rectangle. At the same time the correct screenshot is saved to Spellforce 3 screenshot folder.
I should add that the game was not installed directly through Galaxy but was installed from the standalone installer, added to the Galaxy and then patched by Galaxy to 1.09 (I'm not ready to patch it further mid-campaign).
Hi, I was just wondering if there was any further news on the Linux version of GoG Galaxy?

Yes, rather recently over in another thread it is still confirmed as not in progress because they are too busy with everything else at the moment. However, there are job openings…

HOW DO I DELETE A POST IM GETTING DOWN-REPPED CUZ OF IT =;(

LoucoDiamante: Same here. Says it cant autoupdate at first. Then it opens but not connected. Then if i try to reeenter my credentials, it stays unlogged,

Venom: We are aware of the issue, and we will be releasing an update in the next couple of days to fix it.
Hey @Venon, i could fix it by completly unistalling Galaxy (and removing remacente files too) and retinstalling last version (but this tme without the "ealty features" option checked). After Galaxy validated and imported my game library, it asked for update the client (wierd since i inslalled from the most recente package).
Now everything seems to be working smoothly.

Wrong thread for this, but I'll give you quick answer in hopes of not derailing this thread.

Simply edit the post and rephrase your thoughts. The edit button is in the upper left corner of each post when hovering the mouse over the post. It has a picture of little pencil in the button.

Expressing your opinion is usually innocuous, however anything that sounds disrespectful tends to get people to hide the post from themselves. Unfortunately, the way for hiding a post is the exact same way for rating the post, and so that is probably why you're experiencing a decrease in reputation.

I don't think there's a need to agree with everyone. Other than that, I don't know what else to say. Do try to rephrase what you've posted by editing the post and see whether that eventually helps. It'll likely take a longer time to recover from that than it took to happen. Good luck with your future posts, too.

Martello: My Galaxy crashes every time I start it, without exception. If I uninstall and reinstall, will I lose saved game progress?
avatar
Blackdrazon: No, Galaxy has no connection to your offline saves and uninstalling Galaxy won't impact your cloud saves.
I reinstalled and it continues to crash every time. Anyone else having this issue?

I had the same issue after last update.
My solution was to go to AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Configuration folder, open the 'config.json' file and deleted it's content (only whitespaces). After that it worked fine again.

Hope that will help you.
