Just an aside on this... I've waited to play this game forever. And I have to say an hour in I'm feeling slightly let down. It runs fairly choppy though quite playable in WINE (Crossover on Mac specifically), which is a major bonus and the game is absolutely beautiful but the dialogue is so trite, forced and burdened by excessive profanity that I'm tempted to just play it with the sound off. And while I was prepared for a rather linear game, this one give old NES side scrollers a run for their money.
I'm not giving up on it, as it's gorgeous and the story is well thought out. Additionally the melee is alot of fun and frankly it's just a neat swap on standard fantasy dichotomy. But I'm glad I waited long enough to pay under $10 for it.
If anyone is on the border on this one, I'd say go for it while it's on sale. At 75% off it's a bargain but any more than $10 and I'd feel ripped off.
If it's still on sale on payday I'm going to grab the Game Of Thrones set. My expectations on that one aren't quite so high... maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.
