I know what you mean, I also enjoyed DNF but I am far more senitive to the anti-cannonical story ACM seems to have.

I have watched the last hour through serveal stages (ep1, 8 and 10) and and could not find any serious gfx-glitches.
Though esp. at the beginning and later on you can clearly see the bad AI of the 'comrads' and the so 'terrible it's funny' scipted Aliens AI that most people find so atrocious. And it is 100% corridorially linear.

But I have to admit Ep 8 is scary as shit.

Maybe if you can blend out that it's 'Aliens', this could be a fun C-Movie, like Jericho or something. ;)
