Created a separate thread for the Steam Summer sale which will be launching tonight so the thread here doesn't get cluttered.

Why is IndieGameStand trying to sell The Cat Lady with the soundtrack as a BTA when they give you a GOG key for $1.00 that includes the soundtrack anyway? XD

bansama: Well, they didn't win any friends when they removed the $1 Blue Coin option. Many people, myself included, used that to create amounts such as $18 or $26 worth. Now that's not possible, a lot of people probably aren't even going to bother buying games they would have done otherwise.
Oh, thanks for the info. I didn't realize yet, that they did remove the $1 option (and $2 too!) for BC. :( Last time I bought some a few weeks back, that was still possible, so I guess that happened lately.

I might make the hypothesis that IGS has the FLAC files while GOG only has mp3.
Besides the real possibility that they could not give anything else as BTA-Bonus.

But I don't know of course, maybe some knows. I got my copy from Screen7 with FLAC OST (and from groupees).

Uh, I was wondering the same thing, and while the soundtrack on GOG is 104 MB, the one on IGS is a weird exe of 820 Mo... The game exe is actually smaller!

Yep, it turns out that the "Extras" download from IndieGameStand includes the OST inside the installer for the whole darn game. The "Windows" download is totally redundant.

The music is 150MB of ogg files, thrown into Program Files (x86)\Screen7\Premier Games\The Cat Lady\OST\.

Steam Summer Sale is on.

It's under heavy load so I can't get it to load. But go check it out. Flash deals had Skyrim (they quickly edited it to Legendary Edition) for $35ish. I can't remember the rest.

Daily Deals had Bioshock Inf. for $29.99.
Scriblenauts was at 4.99.
Dragon Age Ultimate at $8.99

And my memory is blank on the others.

Check it out and enjoy!

Note: There's a seperate thread for this. And in that thread, someone nabbed all the deals:

Bioshock Infinite -50%
Skyrim -30%
Gunslinger -33%
Mars: War Logs -33%
Don't Starve -20%
Hotline Miami -75%
Toki Tori 2+ -34%
Left for Dead 2 -75%
CS:GO -66%
Grid 2 -40%
Dragon Age Origins -70%
Defiance -66%
Scribblenauts -75%

Seems like games are only DRM free. Not Steam redeemable.
Am I right?

Pay what you want. Pay anything you want to receive fifteen RPG epics. Pay $1 or more to receive Steam keys for select games. Beat the average and we’ll also throw in Avernum: Escape from the Pit and Nethergate: Resurrection, DRM-free and on Steam
