Saints Row the Third - Full Package = £7.49 http://store.steampowered.com/sub/17933/
Saints Row the Third - Vanilla = £7.49 http://store.steampowered.com/app/55230/

hmmm......
I am assuming Skyrim's house mod DLC thing isn't even worth $2.50.

You get better house mods for free...
It's worth -$10 to me! Yea, they need to pay me 10 bucks if they want me to install this Sims DLC. (and it's the sales price btw, normally it's -$40)

hmmm......
It's 9.99 € for complete and 7.49 € for vanilla here, so maybe it's an error.

Looking at what constitutes a DD sale on Skyrim is killing me, the bastard has been 25 bucks multiple times on console all week and is currently 30...

Bethesda can kiss my ass, buying Skyrim when there's a GOTY and not a moment before.

I assume you already have Skyrim so it's a non-issue for you.
btw GamersGate and IGN seem to have cancelled life time 15% discount.

Some guys are angry about the situation, I'm just disappointed a little. Life-team 15% discount was so good to be true anyway, and I haven't been an active IGN Prime member for months.

It's comical how they're pretending it was never stated to be a permanent/lifetime thing by Gamersgate (and thus supposedly a misunderstanding by IGN) yet it's right there on their own website regarding the IGN promotion.

Just confirming that this is correct. As far as I understand, the discount has already expired for those people who weren't IGN Prime subscribers anymore, and it will expire for everyone else sometime between now and Monday.

SCPM: http://www.getloadedgo.com/
New GetLoaded sale. 2 games for $10:
Spec Ops: The Line (Steam)
LEGO Batman 2 (SecuROM)
Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods and Kings (Steam)
Warhammer 40k Space Marine (Steam)
Serious Sam 3 BFE Seriously Digital Edition (Steam)
Sid Meier's Civilization V GOTY Edition (Steam)
Wow, and it's Civ 5 GOTY, that's awesome. I don't know if I'll even like it but I think I'll get Gods & Kings instead of LEGO Batman 2... I'm sure that will be on sale again.

It was not a misunderstanding _by_ IGN, but apparently either GamersGate or IGN or both used the word "permanent" in a way that many people understood as "life-long". Actually I understood it as such as well, after I found out (to my surprise) that the IGN pet stayed even after my free IGN trial week had ended. But to be honest, I always had a suspicion that it was too good to be true (as grynn said), and when I was told that the discount was removed, it kind of confirmed a suspicion a already had. So I was disappointed (of course), but actually I'm more glad that it lasted so long.

(To those who don't know about this already, I should state that I am active on GG as a moderator and support helper. I'm not "employed", but it probably counts as "affiliated", so you may discard my opinion as biased. However, I'm speaking as a customer here, and my opinion wouldn't be different in any case. Lifelong 15% GG discount as part of a free trial week at IGN _was_ too good to be true.)

They both used it, the links are in the GG thread you were posting in.

I'm torn.

I have a huge pile of accumulated games that I've not played, but that GetLoaded deal for Civ5 and its expansion for 10 bucks looks real tempting. I've never played a Civ game before. Wondering if I should just hold off (you know this is going to be discounted again months down the road, which is likely the earliest I'd even hope to get around to playing it anyway) and grab Dawnguard for the 10 bucks instead. Or just say 'screw it' and buy this deal and Dawnguard.

Decisions, decisions...

Checked - yes, you are correct. In any case, a misunderstanding has happened. I strongly doubt that GG _or_ IGN ever thought of the term "permanent discount due to your IGN Prime membership" as "life-long even if the IGN Prime membership has expired", but several people - me included - had arrived at the conclusion that it would, or at least might.

I've never seen GOTY for $7.50 before, never mind GaK. Check out all the DLC that's included in GOTY... (according to Steam)

All 4 Cradle of Civilization Map Packs (Mediterranean, Asia, Americas, Mesopotamia)
Civilization Pack: Babylon (Nebuchadnezzar II)
Double Civilization and Scenario Pack: Spain and Inca
Civilization and Scenario Pack: Polynesia
Civilization and Scenario Pack: Denmark - The Vikings
Explorer’s Map Pack
Official Digital Soundtrack (Soundtrack not available on the Mac)

Not sure if the soundtrack is included in this or not, I only installed it on my Mac so far.
