They must have forgotten about it lol, standart is all you need anyway.
Didn't see anyone mention this: buried in all the promoted Steam sales that are all crap, Vessel is 67% off, 4.99 USD, which is pretty cheap. Developer site will sell it to you DRM free and with a Steam code, but is not currently offering a sale (normally Strangeloop tries to match Steam sales a bit).

Do you happen to know how long the sale is going on for? If at all possible, I'd like to try and wait out the sale and see if they drop the price on the Humble Store, as well.

I checked the Steam page and could not find either reasoning for the discount nor the length of time it was supposed to last. I was curious as well, if anyone finds anything on the subject I'm sure several folks would like to know. At worst this will likely show up in an indie bundle within 6-12 months. At 5 bucks I wouldn't mind supporting the dev directly, though.

I just figured if either way is going to get me a Steam copy, I might as well go the way that's also going to give me a DRM-free copy, as well.

If someone somehow still doesn't have Fallout 3 GOTY or New Vegas Ultimate, Steam has them for the daily Quakecon deal. Not as cheap as they have been but not bad (NV is 10.19 USD and F3 GOTY is 6.79 USD).

Hack, Slash, Loot is the daily, 3.49 USD, but it's been in a couple indie bundles, so you might check if you already have it.

PCGMR-ALLIN-GREEN

25% off code for Green Man Gaming
Is Sniper: Ghost Warrior worth playing ? I have seen some pretty poor reviews but the game is on sale for only $2 and that seems like a deal too good to pass up....

Hmm . No DLC , and i guess it's using some kind of DRM .

I got the gold version last week in trade for seven bucks worth of games. i'm enjoying it. Not sure why the reviews were so poor, it's very similar to the first Farcry but mostly focused on stealth and using a sniper rifle.

So, uh - Where is Quake during this QUAKEcon sale?

I think it said it needs the GMG Capsule client.

Which reminds me, how is the Capsule client? Reliable? Safe? Not too much of a resource hog? I see all these deals, but I'm just not sure about the client and all...
