racerboi101: On Amazon:

Dungeon Siege Bundle - $11.99 (All Steam)

1. Dungeon Siege
2. Dungeon Siege II
3. Dungeon Siege III
4. Dungeon Siege III - Treasures of the Sun

Command and Conquer The Ultimate Collection - $16.99 (Origin)
Is this the first time Dungeon Siege and DS2 have been individually for sale?

I know for awhile people kept buying Steam's DS3 just to get them (and Steam kept the price for it artificially really high compared to other outlets).

As far as i remember yes. Always had DS1/2 included with DS3 in the bundle.Never seen them sold separately.Having said that still no sign of the expansions for DS1/2....

DodoGeo: Sorry to hear it, but XP shouldn't have color problems at least. Now I guess I'll wait for GOG to publish them, so I can re-buy for the 3rd time for compatibility's sake.

AFnord: The colour issue in Win7 can be solved though. Just terminate Explorer and you'll get the correct colours.
Or just open the display properties window and leave it open when you play.

DodoGeo: I know. There's also the solution with the custom ddraw.dll, but what I was hoping to get is a fixed all in one collection, as years pass I have less and less willpower to hop through hoops to get games running.

Kind of the whole point behind GOG.
This is the whole point behind me playing console games 90% of the time. GOG is also nice:)

What was that, Realms of Arcadia or some such? There must be some whacky licensing with that one because I don't remember that being sold digitally ever, anywhere.

Is Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 worth buying for $10 if I don't like Diablo style games? I assume no but thought I'd ask anyway.

Guess they ran out of keys... over nine hours later and I still can't get a key.

I love it when stuff just works. Awesome!

Oh my. I want this game. I hope there's a demo, if I can play this with my gamepad...

Origin's not so bad, it's basically a download client. Most games downloaded from there do not need you to have the client running.

Yeah, despite that EA is a dickish a company as it can get, Origin has yet to give me any trouble. Download speeds are blindingly fast for me (like 8 to 9Mb/s) updating and auto patching also seems to work.
And only the latest games require Origin to be running.

PS: there is a GOG feature request running to buy EA, please support it ;)

Likewise, my Origin experience is largely trouble free and at least makes a pretense at bringing in my XBox 360 community as well.

Bitchin'. I rarely preorder anything quite so quickly, but it looks very promising, surprisingly few games have borrowed from Punch-Out, and the price is more than fair.
I found good deals at http://www.go2arena.com/ . I recently bought there Battlefield 3 Premium and everything was ok.
