I really don't know who to vote for, even after going back and reading from the beginning. Adaliabooks seemed rather scummy for his attack on yogsloth and his random vote, but he seems to be staying in line for now. Maybe i should vote for him, but i don't have enough reason to yet. Doubt that i'll vote for yogsloth at any point today, because i really want to see what he comes up with in the morning. Obviously, if he survives, we'll get his night action, and that will also tell me definitively if i'm reading him correctly or not. Course, if he gets nightkilled, we get info from his flip and the wagons that formed on him today. To that end, i'm tempted to no-lynch, but i'll get to that later. Overall, we don't seem to have had any major slips in day 1. Reading the full thread was useful, but not especially enlightening.
Some Thoughts They're in no special order, because I had several pages open at once and was flipping back and forth between them.
CSPVG: ...as no one seems interested in the fact that he voted for me with the help of a RNG quite late into the day,...
I wouldn't say "no one seems interested". It's definitely something that's going into my notes, but I don't feel it's strange enough to warrant a vote.
HijacK: It... it doesn't? What? How did town win all of these previous games if this is how this game goes? I simply can't fathom.
How often is it that someone posts something, and suddenly the light turns on for everyone and Town lynches three Scum in a row? That's the kind of thing that I'm talking about. And it doesn't happen.
Compare this...
adaliabooks: Yeah, and I still stand by everything I said last game.
I have no clear idea of who is scum or who is town so anyone is fair game. The only player I think I wouldn't vote for is yogs, for reasons already mentioned.
I can't really argue that we should all be voting if I'm not voting myself, so any vote is good for me.
I'm not going to argue that anyone else should place their vote randomly, but until some more info comes to light I'm happy to do so.
...defending his RNG vote on CSPVG, with this...
adaliabooks: If someone else presents as scummier I will move my vote accordingly, I don't really see what's so complicated about it...
...in which he needs more info to move his vote, with this...
adaliabooks: But as no one seems to like it and I don't want to distract everyone day 1 again I shall
...in which he decides not to vote randomly because people don't like it. Remember, in the last game he felt strongly enough about this that he eventually got lynched for it (among other things). I can understand if he just doesn't want to be lynched for the same thing as last game, but it seems pretty wimpy. And then he asks if people are happy now. Scummy! And it's the same kind of scumminess (backing off because of popular demand) that he is accusing me of.
flubbucket: Well there ya' go...
lol, what am I supposed to say :)
"Yeah, adalia and I talked it over in the scum chat on N0 and decided that we would have this totally contrived little discussion where I brought up the Finger of Suspicion because he wasn't acting normally, and then he would reply with a little emoticon and some stuff about me not knowing him."
Nuh-unh.
[It is usual for scum to have N0 chat, right? I seem to remember that from my reading of scum chats from the past two games. (Dang, that looks scummy.)]
@Krypsyn - How often do you check the thread? Somehow you always manage to be the first with the witty retort, as if you're just waiting for the opportunity.
@Trentonlf - what would you say is your current reason for your vote on yogsloth?
I'm seriously tempted to vote for no-lynch. *takes cover from the inevitable flurry of vitriol*
But we should either get yogsloth's flip (which will be very useful), or we'll get his read, plus whatever other kill happens.
I think I'll keep my vote there for the moment, in the face of opposition.
vote no-lynch
