Sage103082: As for voting right now I think I am going to wait until closer to a dead line to start throwing out names.
btw, I really hate this idea. It's an infection that needs to be eradicated before it spreads.

This is precisely why I have believed from the start we won't be lynching anybody today.

You should all be like adalia and randomly vote for the same guy I'm voting for.

That was actually an annoying coincidence... I'd rather not be jumping on the wagon you started... but random is random.

But on that I do completely agree. We should all be voting, for anyone, because otherwise we will get no where and learn nothing from this day.
Tuesday noon vote count:

2 Yogsloth (Trentonlf, Lifthrasil)
2 CSPVG (Yogsloth, Adaliabooks)
1 Agentcarr16 (HijacK)
1 HijacK (CSPVG)
1 Cristigale (Krypsyn)
1 GoG Support (BlueMooner)

With 16 players alive it takes 9 votes to kick someone off the island and 8 votes to "no-lynch".
Yogsloth and CSPVG are closest to leaving at L-7.

Not voting: JMich, HypersomniacLive, Dedoporno, McHack, AgentCarr16, Cristigale, Sage103082 and Flubbucket

Deadline is in 6 days on Monday Sept 14th at Midnight EDT (UTC -4)
[Extended due to Holidays, Vacations, 16 players and its the first day]

Of course you can always vote someone off before that

Bagatha Chrustie reporting in again.
So far we've been having quite the back and forth.
Between Dudebro accusations and lack of personal hygiene,
its been a typical day in the Murder They Wrote house...
We even have a vote against GoG Support, whoever that is...
That's what you get with a show that doesn't drug screen its contestants...
On the phone, so I can't quote.

@adalia - I really don't like your vote. We're out of RVS, so random votes shouldn't be an option. Remember what happened last time you suggested that.

BTW, I'm experiencing computer difficulties (I.e. it won't boot. Like, at all ) so I'm a little distracted. Sorry.

Sage103082: [...] Argument #1 - I agree. [...]
avatar
HypersomniacLive: Is that agreement to the argument in general, or in relation to Lifthrasil?
Argument #1

1. Fact – Lynching yogsloth immediately will end Day 1 before the deadline
2. Fact – Ending Day 1 before the deadline will stop discussion prematurely
3. Fact – Stopping discussion prematurely stops the flow of information prematurely
4. Fact – Stopping the flow of information prematurely is bad for Town.
Therefore...
10. Conclusion – Lynching yogsloth immediately is bad for Town

1. I agree a immediate lynch will end day and that is bad right now. As in why end it so soon and stop talking.
2. exactly not a good thing. Talking is going to help us learn and get a feel for others.
3. yep above
4. agree
5. (10!?) I agree it is bad right now to jump the gun and lynch immediately and stop all communication going on.

So this is in general. I agree with that ending day one ends all communication and though some people hate day one to me I feel as it gives me a chance to get a feel for the other players and any talking and communication we have going is a good thing. We learn and there is a chance for someone to slip up as well.

Yeah, and I still stand by everything I said last game.
I have no clear idea of who is scum or who is town so anyone is fair game. The only player I think I wouldn't vote for is yogs, for reasons already mentioned.
I can't really argue that we should all be voting if I'm not voting myself, so any vote is good for me.
I'm not going to argue that anyone else should place their vote randomly, but until some more info comes to light I'm happy to do so.

Of course, if you'd like to give me a good strong reason to vote for someone (yourself) then go ahead and I'll move my vote.

flubbucket: I'm anticipating some plausible explanation from the TOWN COP as to why he left a name off the list. The job does entail scrutinizing every player does it not??

And oopsy will not bode well
avatar
yogsloth: oopsy

Actually, it was a brilliant ploy on my part to try and fool everybody into thinking HijacK is actually invisible. Ha HA!

Either that or I just missed him and you can add his name to the bottom list of the general mish-mash.

........<snip>...........
Just terrible.

You claim to be cop and 1) claim straight out of the chute 2) claim to have simply missed a player....nope

Do you have some knowledge or reason to make this statement?
avatar
dedoporno: One of the safest scum claims is Vanilla, since there is practically no risk (at least this early on) of someone else calling you out on it. If you claim a role you risk the actual role holder to counter claim which may throw a wrench in your plan.
...but which will flush out the real power role. So sometimes it may by good play for scum to claim cop or doctor, to see who conteradicts or counterclaims.

But yes, claiming town vanilla, especially so early and without pressure, doesn't benefit town. Others have already elaborated on this. If the claim is true, it endangers the power roles, because scum knows whom not to NK. But for scum 'vanilla' is a safe claim (apart from WIFOM, which always sets in).

In any case, we do have two early claims and both of them were bad for town. Not a good Day 1 ... but then again which Day 1 is good for town? Of the two claims, mchack's has the feel of a genuine rookie mistake. It might be good acting and good scum play, but for now I am inclined to give him the benefit of doubt. Yog's play, however, still feels like either trolling or scummy or jestery. In any case he hasn't written anything yet, that makes his claim more believable.

Was that a threat to flubbucket? Or just trolling/joking again? Or do you have, for a change, some knowledge to share that lead you to say this? I'm a bit worried for you, Yogs, your play, while being agressive, used to make some kind of sense in the last games. But this time you are different ... even flubbucket makes more sense than you, and that is a bad sign! ;-)
I have this dream that somebody, somewhere is paying attention.

adaliabooks: And random.org says...
Unvote: cristigale
Vote: adaliabooks

Using a random number generator, or at least claiming to, is scummy to me. It means that you can't be held accountable for your vote in future Days, as it was "just random". It allows scum the ability to vote, but without any of the accountability.

When did mchack claim? Don't recall seeing any such claim, and a quick re-read of his posts doesn't show any claim either. Care to point it out, along with a "Ha-Ha, you're blind"?

mchack: So I take it Agentcarr16, bluemoon and yog might have similar pms? And this is why they think claiming Town Cop early on could be a good play for town? Fair enough then, if it helps town that's fine by me. Can't imagine how anyway, but I guess I have a very different pm then, because I can't make any connection there at all. But well seeing as I can't do anything at night, my best contribution to town will be voting and probably dying as adaliabooks put it last game.
Ha-ha, you're blind.
