Does anyone have quick 'n' easy access to the link for adalia's script. I'm currently scrolling through the earlier games in an attempt to find the link, but it would be nice if someone could make life a little easier for me.

In this post is a list of many use links. Adaliabooks' script is at the end of the list.

Awesome, thanks.
Nice posting restriction, HijacK. That ought to help attract the ladies. /sarcasm

Actually, less four-letter words just might attract the ladies. /thoughtfulsarcasm

BlueMooner: Arrg, I have to go dig them up? The first time was early on when he was still rhyming. He posted to Yog something about "I'm the same as you". Hyper pointed this out later.

The second time was recently, talking about all the info he'll have after tonight. How can you offer info unless you have a role? The first instance makes me think he's saying he's cop (only? also?). The second instance only implies role, but serves to backup a potential cop claim. So... points against Agent.
*sigh

No, I wasn't roleclaiming when I posted said “I'm the same as you.” Again, it all depends on my understanding of why yogsloth claimed.

And I wasn't talking about info from my night action when I said this...

avatar
agentcarr16:  If yogsloth is nightkilled during N1, then on Day 2 I will have a wealth of information regarding possible/probably alignments. If yogsloth is notnightkilled during N1, then on Day 2 I will have an definite confirmation of alignment for him and we will have yogsloth's night action to work with.
If yogsloth is nightkilled during N1, then, because of all the talk during D1, I will have plenty of back-and-forth, of discussion and vitriol, of vote-wagons, etc. to talk about. This is the info I meant. Just to be clear, I DO NOT HAVE AN INFORMATIONAL NIGHT ACTION.

Hehehe, WIFOM. Do I have a night action, just not informational, do I not have a night action, do I have a passive modifier or an active role? Have fun ;)

avatar
mchack: To be perfectly a*** about it that list _was_ posted before the quote I gave you,
Just so ya know, you can use the bold, italic, and underline buttons just to the right of the text box for added emphasis.

avatar
Lifthrasil: How? The fact that he wasn't nightkilled will tell you nothing about his alignment. Sure, if he is town cop, scum might want to kill him some time soon. But with as much confusion as he created, they might as well just keep him around. Conversely, if he is scum, he will of course not be nightkilled, but he can claim to have been roleblocked or he can claim to have investigated and cleared one of his fellow scum or whatever. So his survival of the night would tell exactly nothing about his alignment.
Ah, forget it. It's a personal opinion and it won't apply to everyone. Perhaps certain other players will get hints regarding yogsloth's alignment in the case of him not being nightkilled, but the way my brain works, it'll be definite, one way or another.

avatar
Lifthrasil: 1. Either you are Town Cop, or you are not. ... There are really only these two possibilities!
2. That means, either your claim was true or it was a lie ... again simple logic and no further possibilities.
There are little things called “modifiers”, no? These are rather common in games, no?

(Hmmm... interesting. I'm typing this in OpenOffice, and it automatically applies numbering to that post. Badly applies it, I might add.)

And just so everyone is clear on my knowledge and position, here is a post from Game #28, in which I responded to the No-Lynch Speech. About a quarter of the way down the post.
avatar
BlueMooner: Did you miss Yog sharing his PM? The whole "ring" thing I mentioned?

Unvote Hijack
Vote Yogsloth
Graaaaaah.

This is the reason you're voting for me? You'd better go back and read the post again.

At least lynch me for something I actually said, rather than something you're trying to convince others I said, when I didn't.

Yes. And they don't change a thing. True or false is still a binary choice. A statement like "I am Town Cop" can only be true OR false. Not both at the same time.

wait what? I haven't seen this, mind to point me to where exactly he did that?

So you mean those two?

avatar
agentcarr16: Alright yogs, I know what you're doing
I'm the same, but I won't join you in
What I think it is
For whatever it is
I'm sure it works better when seule-ing

agentcarr16: On the topic of no-lynch, I think that there has been a lot of discussion about yogsloth's role claim, and I mean a lot of discussion. If yogsloth is nightkilled during N1, then on Day 2 I will have a wealth of information regarding possible/probably alignments. If yogsloth is not nightkilled during N1, then on Day 2 I will have an definite confirmation of alignment for him and we will have yogsloth's night action to work with.
Sorry but I don't see a role claim in these. In the first I can see how one can think that (maybe agent can comment on what he meant by that) but in the second, I don't see anything at all, regarding a claim. Maybe I'm just bad at reading between the lines but I just don't see it.

---------------------------------------------------------

avatar
Lifthrasil: 3a. If your claim was true, it was as the same time outrageously stupid to sacrifice a town cop without need.
fair enough. It may be stupid, but if true wouldn't it be stupid for us to lynch our cop aswell and do the work for scum? Can't we just let scum waste their night kill on him, instead of lynching him ourselves and letting scum off another townie tonight?

The worst case scenario I imagine is we wake up tomorrow with yogs lynched and flipped town and two other townies dead. Why two? I find it odd that rware mentioned a serial killer twice, but maybe it's actually just a reference to some older game...
avatar
RWarehall: serial killer
avatar
RWarehall: serial killer
that would leave us with 8 town vs 4 scum vs 1 neutral on day 2 morning at the worst

The best case scenario is of course that yogs really is scum and there's no sk (or he even hits scum) and that would be great but somehow I don't think it likely. I at least want to wait for a day and hear what supposedly happened through the night to have some more information before we go around lynching self-claimed town power roles...

EDIT: Agent already answered on refresh...
avatar
dedoporno: Is this just an experiment or does it have weight?
Let us analyze.

avatar
adaliabooks: feels more like town HijacK then scum one from last game but he may have learned from that and reverted to being more like his old self to avoid suspicion if he is scum again.
So of all the WIFOM reasons in the world he proceeded to argument the worst.

avatar
HypersomniacLive: A lot of nonsense
Terrible and shitty post. Will not analyze it without 4 letter words.

avatar
trentonlf: @ Hijack BlueMooner asked you why when he brought up no lynch and you were pretty strong in your opinion on just how scummy that was that you didn't bat an eye when agent voted no lynch.
Wrong.

avatar
trentonlf: That is a weak answer to a very good question. I know you often react to those who question you, but why would you not hold the same standard for everyone. If you are going to call someone out for taking about a no lynch yet comepletely ignore someone who actually votes for a no lynch makes it seem as if you are just looking for a reason to cast someone in a negative light.
I will not cover the aforementioned argument again. My responses to Kryps are beyond enough on the matter. The critical thinker shall see the lines.
avatar
HijacK: post
avatar
Krypsyn: Those of you who played with the 'kinder, gentler, more JMich-like" HijacK in the last game: did he ever do this sort of knee-jerk OMGUS thing in that game?
This is a bit of an overstatement. I wouldn't call him kinder or gentler, he was less present and not that aggressive (a few people actually pointed this out early on), but he didn't go onto blowing kisses and hugs around :)

agentcarr16: Nice posting restriction, HijacK. That ought to help attract the ladies. /sarcasm

Come on, man!
avatar
Lifthrasil: You are actually right. This double standard seems quite suspicious. Especially since I would expect a town HijacK to be all over someone who actually votes no-lynch, after it was already explained why no-lynch is a bad idea.
Uhm....really? Aid me a bit. Did a similar event happen? Grant me one example of a similar event to the one described happening.

1 No-Lynch (AgentCarr16)

HijacK and Yogsloth are closest to leaving at L-5.

Deadline is in 12 hours on Monday night Sept 14th at Midnight EDT (UTC -4 which is Tuesday 4 am UTC)

Bagatha Chrustie reporting this evening...
Tensions are high as the house gets into the nitty gritty...
3 names emerge as strong candidates to get booted or should I say "killed"
Yogsloth, HijacK and Adaliabooks are all gathering attention.
As we sometimes do, let's share a bit from an applicant's past.
Here is HijacK, the lady killer's application video for your amusement...

Sorry about the misunderstanding. What you say is completely true. I was referring to #2. In which there are more than two options.

If I didn't deliberately point out the obvious holes in my statement, people might take it wrong. I've seen that happen a few times. And I decided to draw attention in a way that was intended to be mildly amusing.

At least, I was amused.

You now also lose the right to use the letter "a" in your posts ;)
