Godbran Helloburger the Halfling Thief waits in the shadows for his greenskin companions Fognino and Cardan to arrive near the metal door.

When they arrive I say to them:
"Well, I guess now is the time to do some fighting, these Trolls don't look like we can negotiate with them."

Then I stand behind Fognino and Cardan and I prepare my magical throwing knives. Will throw one at each Troll to blind them, just before my companions make their first strike.

Me carefully waits to see if the decapitated troll stays dead or if it will also come back to life. Also to see if a new troll raises from the severed head.

If both stay dead me tries to hack off the head of the next injured troll. But me not enters the room behind the metal door to do so. If head or troll (or both) come back to life, me retreats and tries to protect Calad while he attacks the trolls with his acid arrows.

Okay, I`m just looking around, maybe I find something to eat, my stomach growls like a hungry dragon.

53 - Krssl Kssk - Drow Necromancer

Krssl yells out, "Fire and acid are the only ways to kill trolls! It was a cooking smell that lead us here in the first place, there must be a cooking fire just beyond the door. My undead minion, I command you to go back, find fire, and being it here! Spread the fire to any trolls you can along the way."

The necromancer then takes a step back and focuses his attention and energy on his undead minion to ensure his instructions are carried out.

Cardan hears from little Halfling friend that many shinies ahead, but if Trolls in the way, Cardan's greataxe make them into pieces! After little Halfling throws dagger at the eyes of Trolls, Cardan picks closest one and swings greataxe at leg to knock it down. Cardan knows best way to kill bigger things than Cardan is to make them fall down. Always works on trees, Trolls no different, Cardan thinks

If there are any torches nearby Zazz will use them instead of his battleaxes to inflict fire damage on the Trolls.

If not, Zazz positions himself between the two newly formed Trolls and the other humanoids. Should the Trolls advance towards the casters he will try to distract them with shallow cuts from his battleaxes.

What's the situation now? Can someone say how many enemies we have approximately? Should I summon a Holy Guardian to help?

Before posting the action of my character, I have to ask a few questions: where did the trolls our trio is facing come from? Did I miss a post?
Also, must I notify Doc if I want to change my spell selection, since at the beginning of his post he said we can do this? If there are indeed trolls, a change of spells would be much needed.

I pmed Doc my new spells and he said ok, however I didn't choose anti-troll spells because that wouldn't be fair for the trolls, I mean choosing after seeing the opponent

Keeping my guard up I'm entering with Gold to the room, I'm casting Silver Sword so he can protect me from the enemy closest to me. I'm looking around.

If anything attack us I'm casting Bitter Chill on it.

I read the story up to the last post and I'm also wondering like Enebias, were the trolls that opened the door intended for the room we're in? Just a little confused, before I do anything, because I do have some spells for just this occasion I'm ready to bust out.

The assumption was made that you come out of the room with the gnomes by the metal door in the main tunnel, which is wrong.
You should actually be coming out further up into the left side of the room where the trolls and hobgoblins are.

Raybus gets up swearing against the Troll who threw him to the ground, realising his morning star is a much needed commodity in this dire situation he rushes back to the front line.
