j0ekerr: Just remember not to mention the diving game when gunny is around.
---
I decide to try out that one game from the other place.

I press the install button and... HOLY SHIT 20 GIGS?!
Yes i know...was my last post about it today...:)

Well but it's actually "only" around 16GB...it's not very compressed, is it?

What's the 'diving game' Gunny isn't allowed to know about?

AgentBirdnest: [...] I think I'll play "A Story About My Uncle", which was very kindly gifted to me recently by a lovely little yellow creature covered in coffee n__n [...]

LaPtiteBete: [...] Ho, cool, about the game :) you'll tell me if you like it ? [...]
Just finished it! I had a really great time with it :-)
It is a fairly simple game, with a really fun mechanic. You follow a set path, but the way of getting from place to place is quite fun and exhilarating :-) ... The physics and momentum puzzles actually made me feel a bit queasy at times (don't worry, I love when games can make me feel this way!) and I found myself holding my breath while falling, and grunting when I landed n__n
The coolest part for me is the world and the art style. It is really beautiful and charming. I wished I could explore more of it. The game seemed a bit short, but I guess that is good, otherwise it may have gotten boring.

Overall, it was very fun. I couldn't stop playing. Thank you again so much, my favorite lovely little Owl! :-) (more +1s for you!)

Gotcha. I thought that might be it. :-)
Evening anyone who may be stumbling around in here.
Games in the sale seem somewhat familiar tonight but I think I found one I may want. :-)

Have you tried Paranuatical Activity? It must be the worst game ever; no one wants to talk about it. :P

Nope, I'm not a big one for reviews but those even scared me away. :-)

I took a bit of a nap today and now wish I hadn't. Now I'm same as you, bored and awake.
Good morning / evening everyone. It's a sea of grey from where I'm looking, so I guess people are either asleep or off playing games.

I posted here yesterday with a few photos of some of the amazing clouds I saw on the cliff after the unexpected rain, but of course I forgot to resize the photos, so hours later I returned to find my post still sitting here. Didn't have time to redo it, so gave up for the day. I'll try to post them a little later.

Glancing through the thread I saw that Moon is home, that is great news. You're always missed when you're not around here as often. Also saw a strange Python in Viking garb, with lustrous locks... Interesting visitors we have here.

On a less funny note - sad to see regular members still hinting for people to gift them games. The same ones who post about games they have bought, games they still have to play, yet it seems they always want more gifts, here and in other threads. It wouldn't bother me if I saw them gifting here or in other threads, but I haven't seen much or any of that. People here are so kind and generous, it is a pity that some try to take advantage of that.

Enough about greed - back to good topics like football / soccer, sales and rain. I missed the football, but @Elt, I'm sure you were happy that order was clearly quickly restored in the Germany v Gib game, and Portugal managed! to beat Armenia.
Tragedy when a Nigerian player died on the field. That seems to happen far too often. :-(

It does seem as though the sale has turned into a big of a damp squib, with mostly repeats - and the ones I had my eye on still appearing with relatively small discounts. Just as well, I hope that when I have more money to spend, they'll pop up in another insomnia sale at 90% off at the very least. :-)

Rain - all gone, but quite a lot of cloud and wind to keep the heat away, that cheered me up.

Hope you are all well.

Back in a while with (resized) pics...

Early morning walk along the cliff boardwalk - a wonderful place to start the day.

Lots of clouds - most unusual for this time of year, but they were lifting fast - seagulls, and one crazy fisherman...
