Wonderstrukk
As a fan of the old Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, & NeverWinter Nights as well as the new Mass Effect, Dragon Age, & Alpha Protocol; This game is terribly short but very well done. Giving five stars as I believe even a novice at computer games in general could enjoy this game, am I. The game could use a different AI that used more of a toon's unique abilities, including combos. The voice over seems only partially done though, as the general interaction between your toon and the world's NPCs {Non-Player Character} are very lacking. So it may surprise you sometimes when the a character decides to actually speak to you. Immersion is what the game excels at, believe do I. The myriad of choices at the beginning, allows the player to create very different worlds that we experience with our characters. The only game that does it better is Dragon Age: Inquisition if you used the online system to modify your beginning. Similar to DA:I, Tyranny's story altering choices richly continue past that. That they already are working on a game altering expansion that takes us into another fight with Kyros's minions, pray do I. Additionally, that they are already beginning to plan out Tyranny II. Paradox Interactive's foray into CRPGs is astounding. The only con is their music. They reused the same beginning atmospheric music from the Witchers series and while I love Witchers, hearing it again repeatedly makes me turn the music waaayyy down. Grateful for you sharing your time and Force; May you ask the Goddess to eternally alight your path. You deserve and are worthy of being loved, joyful, and happy.
