In Tyranny, the grand war between good and evil is over – and the forces of evil, led by Kyros the Overlord, have won. The Overlord’s merciless armies dominate the face of the world, and its denizens must find their new roles within the war-torn realm... even as discord begins to rumble among the ranks of Kyros’ most powerful Archons.

Players will experience the new world order under Overlord in a reactive role-playing game (RPG), interacting with the populace as a powerful Fatebinder in the Overlord’s forces -- roaming the lands to inspire loyalty or fear as they bring control to the last holdouts of the Tiers.

Tyranny is a memorable RPG that looks great and feels fresh, even while largely working in the confines of the old Infinity Engine style. It's also the rare sprawling RPG that invites you to replay it, as its comparatively short running time and significant changes based on choice greatly change the experience from playthrough to playthrough, and combat is deep enough to last. With Tyranny, the old feels new again.

Being bad never felt so good

In this game you play the police of an evil ruler (instead of cops think S.S) you decisions will shape the game around you heavely, I know this is used alot in games like this but serously withen 10 mintues of starting I was already responsible for the conquest and slaughter of entire reasons...and people loved me for it. If you are looking for a party based rpg thats dripping in lore and story then this is the game for you, serously buy it

Too woke to feel immersive

I understand, it's "fantasy", but that shouldn't be used as an excuse for developers to write stupid crap because there is a limit to "suspension of disbelief" and Tyranny goes over this limit. Within literally the first five minutes you learn that only women can be land owners in this realm and every female is a super soldier that sends grown men screaming for their lives. Hard pass.
