Since I love this whole series I'd want to collect it here since I trust GOG more than other sites for keeping my games over time. A new starting point would be a welcomed edition.
The Outer Worlds 2
The Outer Worlds 2
user avatar@tzar86
Why The Outer Worlds 2 Belongs on GOG I’m writing from the far‑flung reaches of the Halcyon colony, where my trusty ship still hums the familiar tunes of the original Outer Worlds. After countless hours of bartering with the Board, dodging corporate drones, and sipping synth‑coffee in the “Mothership” tavern, I’m ready for the sequel’s next chapter. Yet there’s a snag in my star‑map: The Outer Worlds 2 isn’t slated for GOG. GOG’s Reputation Aligns With My Values GOG has built a reputation for treating both developers and players fairly—DRM‑free releases, generous refund policies, and a community‑first ethos. As someone who values ownership of the games I buy, GOG feels like the natural home for a title that celebrates Spacer's Choice! The Microsoft‑Obsidian Factor However, with Microsoft’s acquisition of Obsidian certainly raises eyebrows. While the studio’s creative spirit remains intact, I worry about potential shifts toward platform exclusivity or tighter integration with Xbox services. By placing Outer Worlds 2 on GOG, Microsoft could demonstrate that they still respect the broader PC ecosystem, a win‑win for both the publisher and the community. A Small Request, A Big Impact I understand that licensing negotiations can be intricate, especially with a major corporation now involved. Still, I hope you’ll consider reaching out to Obsidian and Microsoft to explore a partnership that respects both the developer’s vision and GOG’s community values. Even a limited “GOG version” release—perhaps with exclusive bonus content or a special collector’s edition—could signal goodwill and set a precedent for future collaborations. Thank you for listening to a humble fan’s plea. May the stars guide The Outer Worlds 2 onto GOG’s shelves soon! With hopeful optimism, A devoted Halcyon Explorer

Honestly one of the best lesbian visual novels around. Comfy story, wholesome moments, and very believable, which can be rare in the medium. Simply wonderful to have in a medium dominated by male protagonists.

Just look at it! Beautiful artwork and that classic dungeon crawler vibe. Add on top that it is the legendary Raven Software's first ever title and it is criminal how difficult it is to play today. The fact it never recieved a release outside the Amiga is a modern day tragedy the heroes at GoG have the chance to correct!

While I enjoy the Director's Cut and it was my first experience with the game, in restropect some of the changes such as removing the gold filter and incorporating The Missing Link into the main story, are counterproductive to the experience. So it would be amazing if more players have the oportunity of playing the og version as it was intended.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

My first LEGO game was Lego Star Wars: The Video Game (2005). It's crazy to see how each LEGO game has evolved over time with the many IPs the team has touched. TT Games going back to it's earlier LEGO roots with Batman again is quite something. Introducing the arkham-esque combat to fit the legacy of Batman media was an interesting design decision to go with but I hope it works out in the end. Being able to traverse around the city using the batclaw to grapple while playing as LEGO minifigures will be super fun now. I hope WB Games (publisher) is willing to bring the rest of the LEGO games over to GOG as this is no exception. I also share @BigFitzPlays sentiments greatly.

I've played very little of Anthem and had planned to do so recently. The news that it's being pulled from stores is nonsense. The game should remain available, as I feel more players will gravitate to it.

TLS is genuinely one of the most well-written and ambitious games I've ever played. It attempts to bring an entire world to life, with characters from all walks of life and give them both agency and permanence in the story. Rarely will you find this level of writing in any game. Furthermore, the attempt at ruling your lands is an endeavor I had not seen in any other game. The way it combines RPG with ruling simulation creates a very unique gameplay and story experience that meshes extremely well with the writing.

Red Candle games delivered two games that I liked very much on Steam, Detention and 9 Sols. Both are interesting takes on their genre, and I am sure anyone making political assumptions on Red Candle studio definitely did not play Detention (or purposefuly completely ignored the game's story). I do not understand why Devotion is still not available to purchase on GoG (or anywhere else besides developer's website, for what it matters), given the current record of quality for Red Candle's games.

I spent hours on this game. The mafia vibe, the mix of action and strategy, the management mechanics... it was wild. And yet, almost no one remembers it. This game was so underrated. It truly deserves a comeback on GOG. Seriously.

grossly underappreciated gem of a game. its a crime its not more well known, and doubly so that its actual sequel got canned. :/ as for what else to say; manages to achieve emotional impact while being knee deep in the era where G4TV was the gold standard of gamer culture. yea.

According to the developer, the delisting was due to a DMCA claim rather than the payment processors (which, of course, creates its own problems for preservation): 'Thank you for your attention and support for TOI. After communicating with our publisher and Steam, we have learned that TOI has been temporarily taken down due to a DMCA claim. Currently, we are in negotiations to resolve this issue. Please wait patiently for further updates.'

I remember playing this game freshly after finishing Crysis 2. The story took place after 20 years of Crysis 2 and when the game booted and I stepped into the shoes of Prophet it was an amazing feeling. I loved how the gameplay had stayed the same but also evolved at the same time making it feel fresh even if it was most of the same things I was doing, apart from totally brand new things. The suit was even more accessible and the upgrades made the player a total machine freak! I loved how the ending came together and ended right where the first game began! Such fun times playing this game! More people need to experience this game!
Asura's Wrath
Asura's Wrath
user avatar@SorainRavenshaw
One of the greatest narratives in videogaming is becoming lost, with it's true ending practically impossible to play out legitimately. All because of decisions by the publisher that are both terrible and noble when an ambitious project failed to make the splash they wanted it to. Any preservation must include the True Ending DLC, in part because of how that came to exist and in part because it's one of the greatest stories ever told with that, just a memorable one without it. Asura's Wrath is jaw-dropping in scope and scale, built on timeless storytelling techniques and simple themes that are universal. It's gameplay is unique, a style that only went on to be used in licensed games that would be far harder to preserve because of that. (Naruto is not cheap.) CyberConnect2's grand opus, Asura's Wrath deserves preservation and the only ones willing to do it right are GOG. Or so I hope, because otherwise how will future generations know it? Asura's Wrath stands as a testament that simple gameplay can be elevated with a little bit of outside the box design and a strong story. To be specific, the entire 'Burst' system enforces a narrative flow to gameplay naturally, making every over the top, absurd and near impossible to implement even today action sequence feel earned by the player. It's a gameplay implementation of proper dramatic build up of tension and release that could only be found in the licensed games the developer worked on outside of this one game and frankly? It's much easier to preserve this, than to negotiate the rights to those games.
Dead or Alive 4
Dead or Alive 4
user avatar@MITSUO_1988
Dead or Alive 4 is pound for pound the uncontested peak of the series. It's Itagaki-Sensei at the height of his powers and back when it was released, it was almost like looking into the future! From its memorable and wild stages (the Mugen Tenshin bridge and the Crash Club being clear standouts), solid music, finely tuned mechanics, impressive visuals, a legit challenging story-mode that's both compelling and frustrating in equal measure (thanks Alpha-152... -_-') and an online mode that many fighting games are still trying to catch up to a whole two decades after its release, DOA4 feels like Team Ninja's creative peak following Ninja Gaiden Black. And that's not counting Aerosmith's 'Amazing' playing at the end credits, an ending that got out emotions I never knew I had. This game was on top of the world back in the day and I feel it deserves to be preserved. It has hardly dated and an updated PC port with improved online play would be perfect. This game deserves it's long overdue comeback.

I have played and followed this AVN since it was being created. I love the game and the DND type of layout. The story rocks and you will be non stop intrigued at the fantasy wrote. The scenes are fun and good. Your choices matter and you can go different routes for multiple play through.

It's silly that they are withholding the last in the series from GOG when every other season game has been released here. I keep emailing them once a year asking when the remaster will be released on GOG. Maybe if everyone else does the same they will realise there is a demand for this game. Write them: hello (at) skunkapegames.com

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Theme Hospital
Theme Hospital
It's a matter of laugh or death in Theme Hospital™, another installment of the Theme series. Design, maintain and manage a hi-tech hospital facility, making the most of limited resources and turning cures into cash. The Grim Reaper stalks the corridors, the ill have some very odd ailments, and the staff want to play doctors and nurses together. No matter how you look at it, you're in control of a very sick hospital. If there is one word that describes Theme Hospital then it has to be “hilarious.” Almost everything in this game is made with great dose of humour. You might think that someone's illness is not a laughing matter but wait till you see a patient with KingComplex dressed as Elvis or serious case of Hairyitis caused from prolonged exposure to the moon. Finding treatments for such diseases is a part of your job, but there’s no prescription to cure the insanity that may result from trying to figure out those cures. You start off small with an empty building, a few doctors, a general diagnostic, a pharmacy, a reception desk, and a few other necessities. From there it’s up to you to move your way up in the health care industry.A hospital simulator is not something you might consider a good theme for a game but the guys from Bullfrog Productions were famous for creating innovative and fun titles from the craziest idea--and Theme Hospital no exception. This game is a piece of art and definitely the best “hospital” simulation so check it out. Our diagnosis: fun!Polished & detailed management sim with extra helpings of crazy.Hilarious humour will accompany you throughout the entire game, in this strange hospital of yours there is always something weird and funny going on.Be everything the national health care system shouldn't be; there is no place for mercy and altruism in this game - you can’t buy yourself a new car with that, can you?Multiplayer is available only over LAN. Populous™: The Beginning
Populous™: The Beginning
Includes Populous the Beginning and the Undiscovered Worlds expansion.Shaman, the path is laid before you. Your destiny is to become a god! But it will not be easy. Not for you, and not for your followers. To become a deity, you must conquer all 25 planets of the system and defeat every other tribe and their shamans. The ultimate struggle will be a difficult one, as you build mystical cities, unleash devastating spells, harness volcanoes and tornadoes, and shape the face of the planet at your will. Remember, your apotheosis awaits! In the third part of the Populous series, you control your shaman and the tribe of her followers in a difficult quest to conquer all 25 planets of a star system and ascend to godhood. For the first time in the series, the world is presented in true 3d, which at the time amazed both the players and the gaming press. The level of control you exert over your followers also takes you to a new level: you can order individuals or groups to perform certain tasks like gathering resources, constructing buildings, or attacking your enemies.Populous: The Beginning takes a slightly different approach from the previous installments of the series but this is not, by any means, a bad thing as it kept the series fresh and innovative. It was a bold move for Bullfrog but the proof exists in the fact that, after all these years Populous 3 is still a great strategy god-game. Votes: 1150

Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession
Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession
Step into a world of gothic and Egyptian horror and adventure, set in the campaign setting of Ravenloft. This pack of entrancing horrors includes Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession and its sequel, Ravenloft: Stone ProphetRavenloft: Strahd's PossessionCordial Greetings from Count Strahd Von Zarovich, Lord of BaroviaFor many travellers, I have naught but contempt and slight regard, entering Barovia as they do in timid apprehension of her wonders. They are neither prepared for life high in the Balinoks, nor ready to accept its dangers. Here, the peaks of Baratak and Ghakis stand in cloaks of granite, their cowls of snow pulled securely about them as if they alone might endure the ancient night. However, your party intrigues me. Perhaps the harsh cut of the wind or a storm in the forest does not alarm you. If that is so, I am certain our woods, streams and caverns will attract your interest, offering many a delightful diversion. Even the otherwise abysmal village of Barovia boasts a charming cemetery. You must visit it. Perhaps, if your party survives... that is, stays long enough in this harsh and unyielding home of mine, I may require its presence. I shall ask you to join me in Ravenloft, my castle upon the precipice overlooking Barovia. It is not an invitation to be refused. I give my leave for your party to enjoy our misty, twilight dangers. Let you challenge your wits and fighting skills; may the perilous magics of my land enchant them. But heed this warning and do not play at cross-purposes with me. To stand against Strahd is to be at odds with life itself, for he who sends these greetings is the Lord and the Law of this brutal paradise. With Gentle Regards, Count Strahd Von ZarovichLord of BaroviaRavenloft: Stone Prophet The desert of Har'Akir is ancient beyond belief. Not all of its past is marked by noble deeds and great kings. In ancient days, the evil pharaoh Anhktepot ruled a great and powerful nation. His downfall stemmed from his desire for immortality. Cursed by Ra, the sun god, Anhktepot's soul still remains in his mummified form and brings death to those it touches at night. Stone Prophet, begins when your characters become trapped in a wasteland haunted by unnatural creatures, fierce sand storms, and cursed villagers afflicted by a horrible rotting disease. Your party's only hope of escape is to follow the advice of a blind seer and seek out the Stone Prophet, a huge, hieroglyphic wall hidden deep within a mysterious obelisk. Some say the writings on the wall, when deciphered, may lead the party to freedom... or to death. One thing is certain, a great conflict has been foreseen, and the mummy lord is gathering his forces.Enjoy the lore and depth of a Dungeons & Dragons adventure in a gothic and Egyptian settingAssemble your party and make your way across terrain and through dungeons, using weaponry, magic, brains and brawn Fight a wide array of horrific creatures and rid Barovia and Har'Akir of the evil manifestationsVotes: 1082

S.C.A.R.S.
S.C.A.R.S.In this game players take control of cars that take the shape of different animals. The game itself takes the role as a combat racing game as it features weapons to use against your opposition while racing, and the computers can do the same to you. The game has four modes: Grand Prix, Challenge and Time Attack. The object of this game is to compete in the Grand Prix and to unlock new tracks and cars. The difficulty of each tournament is determined by which cup you choose to race for. The first cup you race for is the Carbon cup, and once you've beaten that you will unlock other cups that are based on elements like crystal, and diamond. Once you have won a tournament you will unlock a new cup to compete for, new levels to race in, and the chance to challenge other cars to gain access to them for use in Grand Prix races and vs mode. While Racing you can acquire weapons located around the tracks to help you finish the race quicker or to slow down your opponents so you can overtake them. The combat system is different from many games, except for having health and being destroyed for a limited amount of time, if you or an enemy is hit by a weapon you will be temporarily be slowed downed which gives your opponent time to overtake you. They're some weapons that can be avoided by using your cars jump jets; all cars have jump jets and can be used to avoid certain weapons, however not all weapons can be avoided even with the Jump Jets. The weapons are: turbo boost, magnets, seeker-style missiles, a boomerang, time bombs, stingers, stoppers, rounds of bullets, and a shield.

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about GOG Dream list with our FAQ
What is GOG Dreamlist?
GOG Dreamlist is a community-based tool anyone can use to vote for the games they want to see revived or added to our platform. These votes help GOG demonstrate community interest to IP owners and bring these games to life on our platform.
How does voting work?
Find a game on the list and click the arrow button to cast your vote. You can do so directly from the main page or a game's card. Every vote helps shape our platform and supports game preservation, so make it count!
How do I add a game to the Dreamlist?
If you cannot find a game already on the list please use this form to add it to the list for everyone to vote.
Can I vote for more than one game?
Yes, you can vote for multiple games, but only once per game.
Why should I vote?
Each vote shows community interest and signals to IP owners that releasing their game on GOG is a valuable opportunity.
How can I learn about the status of the game on the Dreamlist?
Currently, we can’t disclose the business status of a game before its release due to the complexity of the process and the potential negative impact this could have on our efforts. However, we’re working on a feature that will let you track the games you’ve voted for once they’re released.
Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
How does my vote help to preserve games?
All games on GOG are DRM-free, so you can download and back them up for future use. Additionally, we aim to include as many games as possible in the GOG Preservation Program, ensuring classic titles remain playable on modern systems.
What happens with Stories once the game is released on GOG?
We’re working on a solution to migrate Stories to GOG.COM game cards once the game is released: we won’t let them get lost.
