I played through both the Steam and PS5 demos of this game and am utterly flabbergasted at the boneheaded decision to make this game 30FPS locked on console. Sure it's a turn-based RPG and frames don't really matter, but the fact that my computer, which is objectively WORSE than my PS5, can run this game at 60FPS, 1440p, with no stutters, glitches, or issues makes the locked framerate on consoles feel asinine.
I would prefer having a proper, DRM free, PC version of this game rather than paying $70 for a physical copy of the "purposely inferior" console port.
Otherwise, I'm just gonna have to wait for a steep Steam sale before I commit to purchasing, or hope I get it as a holiday gift, because I'm tired of Bandai Namco's excuses.
It still has yet to release, but please put this on here ASAP when it does, I will never forgive Bandai Namco for implementing Denuvo, but at least putting it on GOG is a good option.
the creators of digimon are only NOW, STARTING to get their $#!t together. They havent had a GOOD game since Digimon World for PlayStation. but see back then you had to PAY people to TEST your games BEFORE you charge people for them. Instead, the industry standard is now to USE YOUR CUSTOMERS AS DEBUGGERS!!! "oh dont worry, ppl will complain and well roll out an update..."
I have not played, or watched anything about Time Strangers, yet. I refuse to support denuvo, so I am waiting to see if Bandi Namco actually brings Digimon games to GoG. This would be a day one purchase, if it shows up here. People seem to be really liking this new Digimon adventure, hopefully gamers on GoG will have a chance to enjoy it as well.
