30 years now! Wow, been a fan of the series since Heroes 1 came out in the Stone age :D Bring it to GOG, where I really own a game and have a stable platform. Would hate if it were only available to steam! Go Gog!!
This was the very game i have ever played on PC that made me fall in love with gaming. I have then proceeded to put countless of hours into playing it, and every game like it.
I'm old gamer. 52 and kicking. My first computer was Commodore 64...how many joysticks I demolished...ah, happy memories!
My friend had first Pentium with CD-ROM! We played thousands matches of Worms United. It was Eternal derby, as we called it. Final result was some 10,000 : 9,965, He was better, I must admit.
Heroes of Might & Magic III was my first turn-based strategy game that I played in late 90-ies.
It was love at the first sight.
The moment I install new Windows version, first next thing is to install HoMM III. I mostly play WoG version now, great fan made upgrade to make game even more interesting.
What is the most precious about this game for me is time spend with my, now late buddy, with whom I spent countless enjoyable hours playing hot-seat.
Rest in peace brother, I will cherish memory on you, by playing Galthran, your favorite vampire necromancer hero, if he would be available. Let's hope so and let's hope that they make this game legendary as HoMM III was. If it will be so good, I'll buy exclusive version with a physical art-book, manual, disk and all that jazz!
Please, make HoMM great again!
P.S. Happy gaming everyone, can't wait to use Armageddon on the battlefield with dozen of Phoenixes to clean up unlucky survivors :)
I have played the game HOMM3 since it was released in the late Nineties. Later I played HOMM5. Both games were great experience. I love such round based Strategy games. And from time to time I came back to HOMM3 over the last 25 years. Later I found the beautiful HOTA mod for HOMM3. And as always I was fascinated from the game and from the mod.
Such a beautiful work, such a great experience! I really love it. And now it seems that HOMM3 get with Might and Magic: Olden Era a fresh new approach. And of course: this new HOMM should be available on GOG.
I grew up with Heroes 5 and it still is one of my most played games of all time especially on GoG.
After having tried the Demo of this game, I feel like it brings back all the good feelings of Heroes 5 with that big touch that I feel coming from Heroes 3. This game is a great tribute to both continuities and a great sequel to the series that definitely has its place on GoG, not only as an heir to two great games, but as an incredible game that deserves to get the maximum audience.
Heroes of might and magic was my childhood like other games not heroes but OldenEra i new and will be fresh game. And need be in gog becouse Gog is king of all players without DRM becouse feels buying here game we will have game forever unlike Steam and his price problems in Poland

Hopefully this isn't Steam exclusive. It will make me buy it two times most likely. (steam and then on GoG) I Remember playing HoMM 1 on my cousin's computer and when i readed from Pelit-magazine that 2 was out i made my dad drive to store and buy it for me. (It was early b-day present, as my b-day in in march and at X-mas, i got Red Alert). Bought 3 also when it came out. Still have boxes and manuals from all those in my closet. Fond memories.
