I'd really like to get this game, but I don't support digital stores that won't allow you to download the game files to your side. No ownership, no purchase. This means I don't buy from Steam, Epic, EA and so on.

I'm old gamer. 52 and kicking. My first computer was Commodore 64...how many joysticks I demolished...ah, happy memories! My friend had first Pentium with CD-ROM! We played thousands matches of Worms United. It was Eternal derby, as we called it. Final result was some 10,000 : 9,965, He was better, I must admit. Heroes of Might & Magic III was my first turn-based strategy game that I played in late 90-ies. It was love at the first sight. The moment I install new Windows version, first next thing is to install HoMM III. I mostly play WoG version now, great fan made upgrade to make game even more interesting. What is the most precious about this game for me is time spend with my, now late buddy, with whom I spent countless enjoyable hours playing hot-seat. Rest in peace brother, I will cherish memory on you, by playing Galthran, your favorite vampire necromancer hero, if he would be available. Let's hope so and let's hope that they make this game legendary as HoMM III was. If it will be so good, I'll buy exclusive version with a physical art-book, manual, disk and all that jazz! Please, make HoMM great again! P.S. Happy gaming everyone, can't wait to use Armageddon on the battlefield with dozen of Phoenixes to clean up unlucky survivors :)

I just heard System Shock 2 was delisted at 10/10 and somehow that original version is still on GOG Dreamlist Might be difficult times to bring that back again because it was removed by Nightdive Studios

GOG actually had this game up on their store years ago. Why did it get delisted? I don't know, but they should really think about getting the rights back again so more people can discover it.
The Outer Worlds 2
The Outer Worlds 2
user avatar@rsvetloff
the original is on GOG and is kind of what if they let make fallout new vegas (FNV) like we wanted. the problem is a game starting with fallout can take many shortcuts in story and world building that are naturally filled in by the setting. the outer wolds suffered from the need to establish its worlds and stories from scratch while trying to maintain the level of character writing from FNV. the outer worlds 2 now once removed from FNV and now enjoying the scaffolding of the original game can take obsidian's strengths like story and character building and express them much more easily and make what was a good game in the original to a fantastic one in the sequel. beyond the ease of having both games on the same platform i find GOG to be the best customer facing game market today with the DRM free and offline play options.

This has literally been one of my fav mobile games ever.. and one of my fav all time games in general. Few games make me want to just hop back in at random intervals but this has been it. I main as RIEVE and she’s such a cool character. I’ve even started to make a lightsaber font inspired by her. Very few games make me want to just hop on and play for a good while. Even COD mobile doesn’t draw me back in like it used to… but Hunters? This is it. If I had the money or team, I’d buy out the game and keep it running.. but sadly I don’t have those resources.. but I was just told it may be able to be archived here in GOG! Looking forward to that possibility and it’s been such a blessing to have played such a game. It will certainly be missed and it would be cool to get the actual audio files from the game so I could make a better lightsaber font, if they would send me something like that 🙏🏾 Thank you for an amazing game and May the Force Be With You! ✨

Not only this dev already published on GoG in the past, but this is straight out of DnD Mystara as inspiration but it builds on top of it with the roguelike approach. An incredible title that deserver to be on GoG. I'll hold off buying on steam until I can buy it here!

I am quite familiar with licensed LEGO games especially LEGO Batman series. LEGO Batman 2 and LEGO DC Super-Villains are among my favorites!!! As soon as I first saw the announcement trailer for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. I was very hyped for the upcoming LEGO Batman game. The team wants to recreate as many iconic Batman moments as possible. We're going from comics to all forms of media adaptations. This is going to be pure Batman fan service at it's core!!!

SADLY UNPLAYABLE TO THIS DATE! One of the most interesting shooters there was. It had a gameplay feel hat has never been created again. Something special right here. Fast paced action, yet intense and satisfying shootouts instead of instant kills. Very rare for a game with such small and packed maps. Again, something very rare and special here.

user avatar@Erraticburst
I initially picked this game up on a whim but was very surprised how engrossed I became. The story is easy to follow, straight to the point and has some good twists. What really made me love it was the combat and design. The gist is that you have 7 weapon families, and by defeating enemies you unlock their weapons. Each weapon can be modified with different lengths, handling, durability, stamina consumption and more. Giving you access to an astonishing amount of customization to fit your playstyle. While you have your standard block, parry, dodge mechanics, healing flask, there is a big emphasis on the direction of the attack and stances. Enemy is currently in a stance that protects their right side? Hit them from the left. Enemy has an unprotected arm with a giant club? Slice off the arm. The level design is also excellent with lots of verticality and ability to unlock shortcuts. It is an extreme shame it didn't sell well or got more spread, because this game is fantastic if you're new or a veteran of the action RPG Souls formula, definitely one of the big highlights in gaming of this year.

Since many 18+ games are being censored on others plataforms, I think GOG could be the diference between preserve and abandon these types of games. I also think that it would be a shame if this game desapeared from the internet, it's really good.
Heavy Hearts
Heavy Hearts
user avatar@TheOrcosaurus
I've been following the development of Heavy Hearts since almost its inception. It's a very passionate and unique project that tries to marry adult interests and true 16-bit gameplay from a past era. Its Early Access got recently rejected by Steam. The dev also broke the news that NSFW games are no longer allowed on Steam. I hope and wish for Heavy Hearts to be added to gog.com as a game.

I can't stop playing this masterpiece, even though I keep playing the forest tier 1 over and over just to complete all the quests. If this game gets on GOG, I'm worried I'd probably play it non stop all over again just to grind up all the silver to unlock that third weapon slot

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Return to Monkey Island
Return to Monkey Island
"An adventure gamer's delight."9/10 – IGN"Everything I wanted and more."9/10 – The Gamer"A nostalgic, swashbuckling adventure you won’t want to miss."9/10 – GamesRadarReturn to Monkey Island is an unexpected, thrilling return of series creator Ron Gilbert that continues the story of the legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. It’s been many years since Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a battle of wits with his nemesis, the zombie pirate LeChuck. His true love, Elaine Marley, has turned her focus away from governing and Guybrush himself is adrift and unfulfilled, having never found the Secret of Monkey Island. Hip, young pirate leaders led by Captain Madison have shuffled the old guard from power, Melee Island has taken a turn for the worse, and famed businessman Stan has been imprisoned for ‘marketing-related crimes’.Banter with old friends and new faces on familiar islands now under dangerous new leadership. Then, take to the high seas and explore the new and unknown as you work your way out of tough predicaments. Clever puzzles, bizarre situations, and devastating ripostes are all that stand between Guybrush and glory.Return to Point & Click SwashbucklingBringing classic point and click gameplay to the modern-day, intrepid pirates will solve puzzles and explore the islands with a clever evolution of classic adventure game controls. Context-sensitive interactions, reactive dialog trees, and an easy-to-use inventory system make pirating a breeze.Embark on Archipelago AdventuresNavigate the sometimes-friendly confines of Melee Island, a familiar place that finds itself under new management by leaders who have put the squeeze on old friends and new faces. Venture out into uncharted lands like the aptly named Terror Island and the chilling outposts of Brrr Muda to make allies and enemies alike.Created by a Legendary CrewThe new chapter in the Monkey Island series marks the return of the iconic series’ creator Ron Gilbert, joined by game co-writer Dave Grossman, art director Rex Crowle (Knights & Bikes, Tearaway) and composers Peter McConnell, Michael Land, and Clint Bajakian (Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge).Votes: 1865

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead
Cataclysm: Dark Days AheadCataclysm: Dark Days Ahead (aka Cataclysm DDA or CataDDA) is an open source survival horror roguelike set in a post-apocalyptic and fictional New England. Unlike most roguelikes, it has no goal: the player is free to explore the procedurally generated map, clear areas of monsters, work with NPCs, and build shelters and vehicles. The gameplay is mainly based on day-to-day survival, and the game tracks parameters like hunger, thirst, morale, illness and temperature which the player must manage to stay alive. Like most roguelikes Cataclysm: DDA follows turn based gameplay. The world has support for seasons and dynamic weather conditions and the season lengths can be modified during world generation. A typical world has cities, towns, rivers, forests, bridges and other landmarks. Cities and towns generally have all the common establishments generally found in real world such as houses, departmental stores, malls, parking lots, swimming pools, hospitals, malls, etc. Exotic locations such as Science Labs, Military installations, missile silos can be found in remote places throughout the whole world. Latest versions have support for experimental 3-D buildings.

Unlike earlier survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the main character Harry Mason is an average man. The gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The controller vibration is used to indicate Harry's heartbeat and will vibrate on low health. The player must regularly enter an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items, and equip different weapons.

Need for Speed: Underground 2
Need for Speed: Underground 2Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline. The driver, who has a unique scythe tattoo, makes a call confirming the accident, and the flashback fades out.

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about GOG Dreamlist with our FAQ
What is GOG Dreamlist?
GOG Dreamlist is a community-based tool anyone can use to vote for the games they want to see revived or added to our platform. These votes help GOG demonstrate community interest to IP owners and bring these games to life on our platform.
How does voting work?
Find a game on the list and click the arrow button to cast your vote. You can do so directly from the main page or a game's card. Every vote helps shape our platform and supports game preservation, so make it count!
How do I add a game to the Dreamlist?
If you cannot find a game already on the list please use this form to add it to the list for everyone to vote.
Can I vote for more than one game?
Yes, you can vote for multiple games, but only once per game.
Why should I vote?
Each vote shows community interest and signals to IP owners that releasing their game on GOG is a valuable opportunity.
How can I learn about the status of the game on the Dreamlist?
Currently, we can’t disclose the business status of a game before its release due to the complexity of the process and the potential negative impact this could have on our efforts. However, we’re working on a feature that will let you track the games you’ve voted for once they’re released.
Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
How does my vote help to preserve games?
All games on GOG are DRM-free, so you can download and back them up for future use. Additionally, we aim to include as many games as possible in the GOG Preservation Program, ensuring classic titles remain playable on modern systems.
What happens with Stories once the game is released on GOG?
We’re working on a solution to migrate Stories to GOG.COM game cards once the game is released: we won’t let them get lost.
