I am genuinely confused, but not by the others. By you. I'm unable to reconcile your views with Town's best interests. For example:

How could I know that I'm falling for some diabolical scum strategy if I don't know what it is? Even you say that it's a "probable" strategy, and don't really explain how scum can gain to benefit from misspelling your name. Through the games I have played, I have seen no one advance their goals with this strategy, let alone play it.

Can you state, for the record, what you have actually said and what they're saying? Just so we're all on the same page as you. Don't quote anything you or others previously said, write both of them from memory.

If something happens to you the first night, then two things:
1. If you're Town, we...don't really have a lot of leads to work with in your case so far. You're sus'ing players based on what I see as (and I bet many others too) misunderstandings.
2. If you're scum, we'll see how you interacted with others in order to suss out our most likely scum suspects.

I'm trying to resolve this mess as diplomatically as possible, so we can all go back to the scumhunting. Don't make it any harder on me.

I haven't bothered to read ZFR vs dogmaus in depth, but in the original disagreement I felt like ZFR was the one making sense. Not sure if any positions have actually changed or if I just have a page worth of back and forth to read only to end up in the same place.

I didn't call anyone names (which I admittedly often do), didn't insult or disparage anyone. Was just being sarcastic. "Did your twin hack into your account?" isn't even close to the top of things that normally get said in GOG Mafia.

If the mod or the person involved think it's too much and ask me not to do it, I'll apologise and will do as they ask. You're neither however, so don't do backseat modding.
