I suppose it is possible, but when Joe and me discovered that the game was already running and it wasn't a good time to try and tweak Proboards. We could lock scum out of their chat, for example. And Joe barely had time to mod the game, much less experiment a bajillion forum options.

Lesson learned. The next GameMod must pay attention to this before opening up their game.

Anyhoo, a few things(besides what I wrote in observer chat):

Pooka's sudden (imo "meh" written) dropping of "results" on Micro right after Micro's posts on D4 should've been a big tipoff.

I was actually starting to lean more to Pooka(as evidenced by my avoidance of a Micro hammer on D3) being the final scum towards the end of D3.

Also if I had been left alive till D4, they also would've lost as I would've voted Pooka for certain at some point(likely after Micro to make sure he voted and made it a sure thing).

Yeah, I tried to "buckle down" a bit and try more this time along with my usual plays/gambits here and there. We still lost, but eh....t'was still fun enough. :)

In any case, my breaking the first game and loosing the second aside, this was a fun game from Day 2 onward! Even though it really was a bizarro setup and the fact that some investigators did get the Conditions explained but poor Micro didn't, gave him unneccesary scum points.


But in retrospect I wonder whether it wouldn't have been better to stick with my first post in the first game and just bus Pooka right at the start. No one would have suspected me of bussing a scumpartner on D1 before he could even act. ... But then again, this was exactly the reason why I didn't want to go through with it. It would have basically denied Pooka the chance to participate in the game at all.

Congratulations to all and especially to Pooka and Yog. I stumbled upon the game shortly after it began and it was fairly entertaining, even though it was in quite truly bizzare way. I haven't read mafia in a long time and when I opened it there was Lift busting his buddy becuase his PM didn't tell him specifically he is scum, game restart, some bad blood and fierce bickering among players (which I am sorry to see), multiple counter-claims, GR's awesome crumbs and lot of confusion overall. Good times. :-)

(at the start of both games I thought I had lucked out on a good/unique role, and as such tried to crumb it more carefully/sneakily. I was also trying to put a bit more effort into this game as well. A shame we lost, but there's always next game :))

Lift I am curious to know who you would have investigated in the last night if you had decided to try using your PR.

Now that we know the result is a scum victory we can say it didn't rely on this choice, but If Town had won this decision could have changed the game a lot.

When you were talking about the possibility of being imaginative you said something that (to me) read like "yogs claimed not to be conditional" which I couldn't find any evidence of. When you first tried to answer my question it seemed like you weren't answering the one I'd asked, but I realised it was because you were answering a sensible question instead of the stupid one I had asked based on my misreading.
