Dogmaus: I apologize if I use the wrong pronoun for anyone! Just let me know!
It was unnecessary of Lift explaining what had happened, we could have just moved on. Lift wanting to point out that he has botched the game because he didn't know he WAS scum seems to want to hint that he must not be anymore as roles have changed. But I am not sure of what is going on and it could be a confusionary tactict. So for now the only person I have a reason to have a suspect on is Lift.
I can join that vote with Pooka

Vote Lifthrasil
Are you aware that I wrote that explanation before the new roles were distributed? So also before I could know my new role? And that people asked 'what happened'?

avatar
Dogmaus: again this weird strategy of
1 mispelling my name to cast an unvalid vote
2 intentionally misrepresenting my thoughts and words. The game could have moved on without Lift saying anything else, as it had been reset. You are lying and trying to trick everyone against me.

vote ZFR
OK. The misspelling is there, but I don't know whether that will invalidate the vote on you. Why do you assume that a) typos will invalidate a vote and b) that the misspelling was intentional?

But what wasn't there is the misrepresentation of your words. ZFR explained to you, why your reason for suspecting me after the re-roll was false. I really don't know why you take an explanation as misrepresentation. Unless, of course, you have reason to be overly sensitive to being questioned after the re-roll. In other words: you got scum and have to construct some suspicion and become nervous, when it is pointed out that that 'suspicion' of yours is untenable.

ZFR: Can we see that post? I mean GR saw it so it's only fair it becomes public.
I'm not against sharing my blunder for public amusement. But maybe we should do that post-game, to avoid further confusion. But in the end it's Joes decision whether he allows GR to share that screenshot before the end of the game.

PookaMustard: Probably you're right. Still, it is all weird.
And of course, things that seem weird/etc should be noted by each player(in their notes/etc)....just prolly not obsessed over too much for too long*.
(* I know, I should be one to talk, given how I have played some games)

PookaMustard: As far as I think, no big deal. He states his own reason for it and doesn't quote me. Might be our first non-RVS vote for all we know.
I think it's more likely it wasn't(the text seems to be a Fight Club reference)....anyhoo, thanks for the input and whatnot. :)

GamezRanker: ... I think it's best ... focus on finding scum more so than focusing on if other players might be helping scum somehow with their words.
Please please pretty please go back and read what you just wrote.

From my talks with Joe Star in his side pocket dimension(PM), it seems he's ok with such being posted....still, out of fairness for everyone I am trying to stick to sharing the link via PM with players who want to see such, more so than sharing it here(for the time being, anyways....i'll likely share the link here as well after the game).

@Bookwyrm Post 78: I meant that players shouldn't overly focus on some things/aspects of the game too much at the expense of others...sorry for not being more clear.

hu dat?
If before I could think Lift was in good faith I now reasonably suppose that both Lift and ZDF have goofly exposed themselved early on as scum. Anyway, we will see.
And, yes, you have to write the correct name.
If I write
vote Bifthramir
that sounds more like a joke or a provocation to me than a legal vote
What is Joe's take on this?
You're not going to answer how you think Lift travelled back in time?

Dogmaus: If before I could think Lift was in good faith I now reasonably suppose that both Lift and ZDF have goofly exposed themselved early on as scum.
You still have not explained how that exposure could have worked. In case you still haven'd understood what happened: I did indeed expose Pooka and myself as scum. But that was the cause of the re-boot of the game. Which also means: it happened before the alignments were distributed.

As ZFR pointed out: whatever I wrote before the reboot can not have been influenced by the alignment I got after the reboot. Because I had no way of knowing what alignment I would get. Unless, of course, you accuse me of being able to see into the future.

I have already said all I have to say. Your words make no sense. You try to make it look like I have said anything about the things you mention, but I haven't. As I say, we'll see but for now you and ZFR are very sus. If you are simply mistaken, you should be able to understand by actually reading my posts, but you keep making up stuff.

The way you're going with your suspicion is not good for Town, or for you. As I see it, you're adding a lot of noise over what I honestly think is just misunderstandings. If you're Town, this wastes Town's time on hunting scum and may get you lynched (to the happiness of scum I might add).

So I'd like you to answer me on a couple things:

1. Let's say ZFR is using a strategy to cast an invalid vote on you by mistyping your name, and ZFR is scum. How does that benefit scum, or hurt you?
2. Let's say you are Lifthrasil. You have accidentally outed me as scum. Joe decided he would restart the entire game, and now the game is on stand-by; it does not start until a few hours later. Would you explain your blunder to everyone? Why or why not?

PookaMustard: I don't care who we lynch as long as we can say, "Hey, you people in the observer thread, hey JoeSapphire, hey everyone else, GOG Mafia has finally produced a D1 lynch." Shouldn't be too hard me thinks.
FYI we really don't say the "L-word" anymore

And man, we've literally yeeted the only scum in the entire game on Day 1 before lol, that game was I was the annoying teenager

lol @ the idea of yeeting Lift because he rolled mafia last time and didn't know it, how does that make any sense, just point at him and laugh and move on like a decent human person

but I don't know dogmaus, so I'm assuming new player, and that seems like a newbie thing so, just a lol

and on GOG we have a long tradition of counting misspelled votes, after all, you can't expect me to remember how to spell names like Liftrithesel or Bookworm on my own

everyone else just doing the usual song and dance

how long we got this phase
