Exactly. This is much of the reason I voted for dedoporno. This isn't the entire reason, but it contributed a good bit. A lot of it also has to do with hitching his wagon to one of the more town leaning players (at least from my perspective). I suppose, all told, that would constitute about half the reasons I voted for dedoporno.

I think you'll find I've always thought it was a huge problem. I know I was very careful in what I actually said last game to make sure I was quoting something from the OP, not my PM. But it got turned into something more. If you read Sage's QT from Telika's space game you would find I was dead set against the whole PM sharing thing as I felt it spoilt the game completely.
And I think you'll also find that last game, despite the fact that it was me it confirmed, I argued against it offering any kind of confirmation. On top of anything else, Darko mentioning it and it becoming a thing ended up getting him and me both killed because it's hard to come across as not too townie if someone has gone out of there way to point out you must be town.

Noted. Trent didn't seem to mind, though. Both games, actually. Yet he almost threatens to leave the game by asking to get lynched. Something he also didn't seem too fond of when Yog did it.

Heck, some people have changed their avatars to establish a secret tell for later that became game-changing. In this case, a player accidentally posted something reminiscent. People looked at it, saw the similarity and are convinced someone is town from a town tell.

And this came up because someone voted against that person. Do you really think Dedo should have kept quiet and let someone he's fairly convinced is town get lynched?

This doesn't appear pre-planned. Dedo was just very observant.

Yogs wanted out of the game because he felt the setup was poor. I am saying if we are once again going down the road of using PMs to verify people I'm out as it takes all the fun out of it. The game is supposed to be about determining who is lying and lynching them or if your scum lying and getting away with it. What is the point in playing if all people want to do is use their PM to confirm town instead or mass role claim.

Call it crying, whining, bitching, or whatever fits it best but I don't want to go that route again. If we are I would rather devote my time elsewhere as it lessens the pleasure of playing the game.
