Microfish_1: Gummy Bears are kind of the americanized version of "Jelly Babies", an English candy loved by Tom Baker's Dr Who.

I love gummy bears myself, too. Cadaver asked for seat 13 in a 10 player game. The thought of 10 chairs filled with gummy bears (or a single giant gummy bear each?)--such that seats 1-10 were not available-- struck me as funny.
Giant gummy bears in chairs.....reminds me of this scene from The Avengers(film)

Technically the most correct requirement would be 50% + 1 [unit] rather than 51%. The one extra unit over the 50% mark is enough to guarantee majority so it doesn't necessarily have to be a full percent over.

Exactly. Both President and Chancellor have to be silent until the policy has been passed. And frankly I don't see anything more to analyze until they have done so.

It would be nice if in future elections the voting process could be sped up.

I'm not a fan of how long this first vote took to resolve but I don't think we should be rushing things from now on either. I expect things to become a tad more interesting and eventful once we have at least some information to work. That being said I do agree that there isn't anything more to talk about right now, at least from my perspective. If anyone needs me I'll be checking in every now and again but I don't have much to talk about right now.

Really there isn't much information to take much time thinking over votes at this stage of the game. Later on there is but not now.

Essentially you're either voting for all of the next 3 presidents, or only voting for 1 of the next 3 presidents based on your judgement of their chat to date. And in my case, if they pick me or not. Although if I think someone seems liberal from the dynamic at this stage I will vote for them anyway at this stage as conflicts benefit Liberals. If someone has put no effort into analysing the game, they will not get my vote.

It shouldn't take long to analyse any of that for anyone. Speed up the game gentlemen
