As for what's been happening here - I won't be supporting the current election as I'd like us to get faster to Joppo, now that he's been investigated as L. Normally this wouldn't be enough to back him up as Cadaver may be covering for his buddy which brings me to my second point. Scene has already mentioned this but I really don't like the fact that Cadaver wouldn't skip through to the only person who he knows for a fact is Liberal. If Cadaver is L there is no satisfactory reason not to do that. I don't care who the Chancellor is and how nice reputation they have. The President is a lot more important in this stage of the game.

Alternatively, if both Cadaver and Joppo are F Cadaver's optimal play would once again seem to be to push for Joppo as now he has a valid reason to do so. Which he doesn't. That concerns me as the only decent reason I see for a F not to try and skip to his buddy who he has cleared would be that he already has another buddy in line. Bucktooth or ZFR. Based on actions ZFR is less likely to be F which leaves bucktooth as the more concerning one. As I said before an F president is a bigger concern.

Which takes me to Pooka who appears to believe the Chancellor is more important than the President at this stage. That's clearly incorrect (unless you are Hitler or you're setting up for him). Pooka also appears to think Cadaver is more likely Liberal, something to keep a note of.

The deck is NEVER heavy on L cards. It starts with 11F x 6L. Fascists win with 6 F enacted so even if it were to happen that the score was 5F x 0L (max L cards and the minimum possible F cards in the deck), said deck would contain 6L and 6F. That's 50%, hardly "a deck full of L cards". (At least if the game isn't homebrew. If the rules or deck have been changed anything is possible.)

Not only that, but at the beginning of SH games fascists have to lay low, which causes that even when they get in government several L end up enacted early on. A deck full of F is pretty much a certainty in every game.

I'm relieved to read that everything is alright. As long as the only losses are material, it is all good, and even those you can probably get back. The some guy's insurance will probably foot the bill. Thankfully your family's life and health weren't harmed at all.

As for your game analysis, nothing to disagree with. The only thing getting me perplexed is that if Cadaver is a fascist I expected to be accused by him because the mud thrown at me would smear you too.

Would it, though? You can still be a fascist who validated a Liberal just like Cadaver can be a fascist who validated a Liberal!Joppo. Also, some people are already not believing me anyway. How worse can it get? And again, you can be his buddy :) I find his play so far perplexing as either alignment, so who knows what's he's going for here. To be honest I'm surprised we haven't had any official showdowns yet. I expected something to happen earlier but I'm not experienced in this game, maybe that's how it goes and shit normally hits the fan a lot later on.

Anyway, L!Cadaver's is in the ultimate spot to claw and bite his way through President Joppo + Chancellor Dedo, as from his claimed perspective both of us are Liberal and in reach. He should be dying on this hill yet he isn't. How come?

You're right, he should. I don't have a good answer. Actually I don't even have a bad answer. Too many things have been perplexing so far in this game.

Either the fascists are in terribly bad positions and they consider the game lost so they're not even trying anymore, or they have some incredibly good position we're not seeing (like a hitler ZFR ) — and that still only works for them with a dose of luck because they can't know if I'm not getting an L to pass to my 100% sure liberal chancellor.

One thing I have learnt. Is that you are I are opposites but also just the same. Like an image in mirror. We hate people. And they in turn hate us. And fear us. Before the day is over your heart will be broken, just the same as mine.

What I meant is, a deck with more L cards in the deck at the time would be a better time to risk a top deck than when there's less in the deck.

WOW, I praise God that they are okay! That must have been horrible to experience (and very scary to hear about as husband and dad) and I'm very glad everyone is okay.

One thing I have learnt from this game is that if I met an alternate universe version of myself who had become a politician I'd hate him just as much as I do regular politicians.
