RWarehall: To be fair, the servers just might have gone down and it will be back online "soon" (TM). It's not the first time the server has gone down, so the lack of an official announcement means it probably isn't official yet.

Official announcement by who exactly? Desura has had no staff ever since its woes started back in June.

The site has been down for hours before and somehow been restarted. "Someone" still does something there even if its a skeleton staff. There still must be Bad Juju staff. There clearly are people who could comment...

I'm afraid this time Desura is gone for good. Ever since the bankruptcy announcement, when seeing the website still running, I always figured the only reason for that was that Bad Juju had renewed Desura's hosting for another year. Whenever the new extended hosting expired, Desura would be gone forever. I guess the last payment was made on mid-March 2015 and so today the hosting company has simply pulled the plug.

RIP Desura, You'll always have a little place in my heart. :(

I mourn the Dominions hub there. Steam haven't taken over as Dominion fans hangout place yet and I doubt it ever will.

That someone might also be the hosting company. No, I doubt anyone has remained on Desura.

I appreciate your good intent, but considering there are people who knew Bad Juju was bankrupt and had 9 WHOLE MONTHS to backup their Desura catalogue but still didn't do it (a few of them just appeared earlier today in this thread), I'm having a hard time imagining them becoming backup-addicts all of a sudden. :P

RIP Desura. It's a bit sad to see they're finally offline. In my opinion it was still one of the better platforms out there.

Not even a speck of an article about the matter as of now. Certainly this should garner news and clicks, or at the very least, it's material for an article to be written about...NO! The latest articles include your basic news that nobody cares about, such as Dark Souls 3's graphics settings (who cares about graphics again?)... yeah, definitely nothing wrong or fishy there, moving on.
