Its a nice smaller steampunk dungeon crawler. You have amnesia and waking up on island in front of some strange lonely tower. Of course, our hero have to check what's inside! Mad robots everywhere and you seems to be somehow connected with this madness. Well, still better than Grimrock's story, right?! You control just one character. so no party creation in here, no dialogs, no deep story. Sadly, used RPG skill system is trully minimalistic. To be honest, whole first floor wasnt much fun. It looked like a cheap indie RPG with steampunk flavour. This sounds badly, but hearth of this game is somewhere else As a Grimrock this game is all about fighting throught enemies and traps in tower and solving many puzzless oddly placed into this steampunkish tower. Puzzles are relatively easy, but funny. Main plus of this game are two things: dark claustrophobic atmosphere and mostly combat! Combats arent much original, but they are challenging, very satisfying and trully fun! You are fighting usualy in very small closed areas. Your only chance for survive on higher difficulty levels is turn based slow mode, which can be enabled anytime you want. And dont you think you will be overpowered in late game. Difficulty of fights slowly growing up, so good tactic and looking for best equipement is a key for survive. Fights were great from start to finish. True reason why to play this to finish. Good job, devs! Only cons here is final combat. Its kinda unfair, especialy on higher difficulties. And opened ending sucks. Overaly nice little dungeon crawler with focus on combats!
Sad story! Sequel of amazing One Finger Death Punch. 2D kungfu arcade where your only goal is to kill everyone whos trying to kill you by your mighty crazy kungfu. Minimalistic graphic, minimalistic controls, extreme speed and maximum fun. Game made by two unknown persons was a huge success, you can still find this game in all time top 20 of best rated games on Steam platform. Sequel is just upraded OFDP, more game modes, more enemy variations, bigger challenge. This should be even better than first game, maybe game of the year, but... Devs literaly patched the game for just few months, until console release. After this point they totaly ignores all reports about very serious bug in game which can make a main campaign unfinishable. Yeas, game has pretty nasty bug which can randomly appear. For this reason buying this is nothing else than hazard. You can enjoy fantastic game, but your progress can be stopped even on first game map, which also happened to me. Hard to say if same but is in console version, i never tried. Sad example how money can turn talented devs into lazy b*******. If you want enjoy this without risk, take first One Finger Death Punch. Awesome game which works great. Sequel is pure loterry, you can win amazing game or game which will troll you. It's our choice.
Bizarre 2D retro game about first working day of our hero. Cool mx of adventure, stealth game, horror and comedy. If you played previous game of this studio, The Count Lucanor you know kwat i mean. But this time its not a classic fantasy themed game at all. Game starts as (un)usual first working day in some huge company, but after little chat with few coleagues it's starting to be more and more obscure. It's like David Lynch shoot a mysterious movie about office building where nothing make a sense. Where almost nobody's normal, most of personal act like a mindless zombies and rest of them is quite odd, obscure monsters lurking in dark offices and mysterious Witch kills people. Very unique story, nice characters, dark atmosphere, humor, few possible endings. and overaly bizarre experience! 5/5
Nice music and graphic doesn't do a good game. Storyline was quite original too, but gameplay... That was real pain in the butt.; lots of pixelhunting and stressful quests makes this game really, really hard. Few nice animations and ending aren't sufficient reward for this hell. Conversations could be done better too. I like adventures, really, but this game was so much stressful for me that I can't recomend this game for usual adventure gamer.
