We have a fragtastic deal for you. We have managed to gun down the prices of twelve of the best shooters from the GOG.com catalog--pick them up with only 50% health left in the FPS Blast Promo, this weekend only on GOG.com.

The King of All Shooters is full of evil aliens, hot babes, and awesome one-liners. The Atomic Edition is the most complete version of the game that includes fourth bonus episode, new weapon and enemies. If you've never played Duke Nukem 3D® you have not lived but merely existed--so come get some now for only $2.99.

The Unreal series offers something for all shooter-lovers: Unreal Gold and Unreal 2: The Awakening Special Edition guarantee hours of first-class single player experience with great gameplay, superb level design, and an interesting story, while Unreal Tournament GOTY and Unreal Tournament 2004 will test your skills in multiplayer battles. All the Unreal games are available for the unreal price of $4.99.

Far Cry is the game that changed the way people perceive video games, thanks to the astonishing CryENGINE. In terms of lifelike graphics, physics, advanced enemy AI, and sandbox style FPS-ing, there is "before Far Cry" and "after Far Cry". Far Cry 2 took the game realism to another level--fully destructible environment, wind, rain, day, and night that affect enemy AI, and a beautiful African setting. The game features a spectacular story presented in a huge single player campaign which takes form 40 to 70 hours to beat. Far Cry 2: Fortune's Edition contains the full Far Cry 2 game, including all previously released patches and the Far Cry 2 Fortunes DLC with additional content like new weapons and vehicles. Pick up Far Cry and Far Cry 2 for only $4.99 each.

But there's more: XIII, one of the first games that used cell-shading to bring the comic book aesthetics and narrative style to the PCs; Blood series, filled with voodoo, zombies, demons, and, of course, BLOOD; and, finally, POSTAL 1 and POSTAL 2, which are probably the craziest games in our catalog, banned in several countries and infamous for the anti-social, psychotic, non-stop killing spree.

Visit the promo page and grab your favorite shooters 50% off. This offer ends on Tuesday, August 21 at 03:59 AM GMT.

Austrobogulator: Postal is an FPS? :P
My bad! I didn't realise it when organising the promo, always thought it was like Postal 2. Anyway, that means another game in the promo at least. :D

Yeah, we know it's not. But having the choice to give you just the second game and both of them 60% off, we obviously had to do the latter. :-)

de_Monteynard: Any chance you could "organise" a Sierra promo next week? ;)
Can't, sorry. I'm afraid it would clash with our System Shock Promo.

Skunk: 60% off? Oh, I wish these games were 60% off.
50%. Finger slipped ;-) As I said before:

God damn it, Jim! I'm a gamemonger, not a mathematician!

timppu: Do the Unreal Tournament games have any meaningful single-player game? I don't mean "fighting the bots", but any kind of single-player campaign?
avatar
Fenixp: There's a campaign that lets you fight the bots in a certain order :-P Anyway, if you want a campaign, get Unreal.
There are mods for UT that feature single player maps. Some of them really good. They even change the UI so it resembles the one from Unreal 1. Personally, I can recommend Operation Na Pali. http://www.moddb.com/mods/operation-na-pali

Edit:

Whoah! I just stumbled upon this: http://www.moddb.com/mods/marathon-resurrection
Marathon: Ressurection. This is a re-make of Bungie's Marathon (Halo's predecessor) done in Unreal Tournament engine. Looks very interesting and the version number (2.0) suggests a final and revised release.
