We have a fragtastic deal for you. We have managed to gun down the prices of twelve of the best shooters from the GOG.com catalog--pick them up with only 50% health left in the FPS Blast Promo, this weekend only on GOG.com.

The King of All Shooters is full of evil aliens, hot babes, and awesome one-liners. The Atomic Edition is the most complete version of the game that includes fourth bonus episode, new weapon and enemies. If you've never played Duke Nukem 3D® you have not lived but merely existed--so come get some now for only $2.99.

The Unreal series offers something for all shooter-lovers: Unreal Gold and Unreal 2: The Awakening Special Edition guarantee hours of first-class single player experience with great gameplay, superb level design, and an interesting story, while Unreal Tournament GOTY and Unreal Tournament 2004 will test your skills in multiplayer battles. All the Unreal games are available for the unreal price of $4.99.

Far Cry is the game that changed the way people perceive video games, thanks to the astonishing CryENGINE. In terms of lifelike graphics, physics, advanced enemy AI, and sandbox style FPS-ing, there is "before Far Cry" and "after Far Cry". Far Cry 2 took the game realism to another level--fully destructible environment, wind, rain, day, and night that affect enemy AI, and a beautiful African setting. The game features a spectacular story presented in a huge single player campaign which takes form 40 to 70 hours to beat. Far Cry 2: Fortune's Edition contains the full Far Cry 2 game, including all previously released patches and the Far Cry 2 Fortunes DLC with additional content like new weapons and vehicles. Pick up Far Cry and Far Cry 2 for only $4.99 each.

But there's more: XIII, one of the first games that used cell-shading to bring the comic book aesthetics and narrative style to the PCs; Blood series, filled with voodoo, zombies, demons, and, of course, BLOOD; and, finally, POSTAL 1 and POSTAL 2, which are probably the craziest games in our catalog, banned in several countries and infamous for the anti-social, psychotic, non-stop killing spree.

Visit the promo page and grab your favorite shooters 50% off. This offer ends on Tuesday, August 21 at 03:59 AM GMT.

Licurg: That's my point. UT is an incomplete experience. Unreal has both single-player and multi-player, and both of them are excellent.
avatar
Fenixp: That is simply not true tho. By your logic, Unreal is an incomplete experience because it lacks UT's MP possibilities. They're just both trying to do something else, and both excel at it. I mean, it's quite simply pointless to buy Unreal if you're an MP player, and it's pointless to get UT if you want an SP experience.
Unreal's multiplayer is very good and very enjoyable, and also offers an amazing single-player campaign. UT does only the multiplayer. Also, the guy never said he's a MP player.
And even if he were, Unreal is practically a piece of gaming history, and one would miss quite a lot by not playing it.

Actually UT has a terrific single player mode. :)

Well yes, Unreal's got really good deathmatch. UT's got the DM more balanced, and it's also got CTF and Assault, not to mention other MP modes and far more maps. And it DOES have SP, just not as good as it's not focus of the game.

Well yeah, that I agree with. I'm just saying that it's not at all superior to UT, it's got entirely different strenhths and weaknesses.
Ok. I decided to get Unreal II as well. I think XMP sounds really interesting. It's extremely interesting to see how Unreal evolved and besides now my set on GOG is complete. I will just need to cut back on other addictions to feed my GOG addiction.

So just like that I got all four Unreal games during this sale. :)P~~~~~~.`'Unreal\
