Daedalic Entertainment and Telltale Games amazing titles up to 85% off!

<i>IMPORTANT UPDATE: We have been notified that Telltale Games' licence to the Wallace and Gromit IP has expired, and therefore the company is unable to keep their [url=http://www.gog.com/game/wallace_gromits_grand_adventures]Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventure title in their offer, for the time being. By extension, we have been asked to remove the game from our catalog, and we are in the process of doing so, and once it's done the game won't be available for purchase anymore. Everyone who has the game in their GOG.com collection by that time, will still be able to download the installer files and bonus content after the removal. The game, however, won't be listed for sale on GOG.com. We apologize for any inconvenience that this situation may have caused you.

Seeing just how popular the genre is becoming with mainstream gamers, it's quite safe to say that adventure games made a comeback and are as prominent a genre as they were in the 80s and 90s. Some of the games are firmly rooted in the point-and-click traditions, other dare to experiment with new sorts of gameplay mechanics, bringing a different experience to adventure game veterans. Let's look at Adventures NOW!--you'll probably agree that the modern state of the genre is actually quite impressive. Some adventure game development and publishing tycoons emerged on the market, providing a steady flow of titles just like in the old days. Today, we start a sale of games coming from two such adventure powerhouses: Telltale Games and Daedalic Entertainment. All the Telltale productions on GOG.com catalog are available 85% off, while the ones coming from Daedalic, come with various discount rates. Sam &amp; Max Save the World for only $4.49, Back to the Future: The Game for only $3.74, Tales of Monkey Island for only $5.24, for only $9.99, [url=http://www.gog.com/game/deponia]Deponia for only $2.99, and more! With 16 games in our offer, this weekend turns to a point-and-click feast.

If you feel like visiting some incredible locations, talking to some original characters, and solving some mind-boggling puzzles, make sure to drop by our Adventures NOW! promo page, and pick your favorites from our vast offer. You have time until Tuesday, January 14, at 4:59AM GMT to get them up to 85% off, so don't miss out. Adventure awaits!
Chains and Memoria are mine!
That's 105 on my shelf.
Now PLEASE take away my PayPal card! :-)
off topic

Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures had been removed from the Steam catalogue but it's still available on GOG .
Bummer, I was so hoping that "the Longest Journey" was in this bundle!
Junk
A promo!

(sees that there's nothing of interest, walks away)

jamyskis: Definitely more a case of "Adventures LATER" than "Adventures NOW" for me here.

The only ones I'm interested in are Memoria and Night of the Rabbit, and with both of those at $10 even after discount, I can afford with my backlog to wait for them to drop even further.

Good deal on the whole though.
Agreed, except my list is slightly different. NotR was a lot of fun though I really wish I'd had a kid to play along with since it's one of those perfect games to begin indoctrinating the next generation of PC gamers ;-) The Edna and Harvey games also fill this bill and are a ton of fun.

The Deponia games are a bit sophomoric in their commentary so if you enjoy a bit of snark in your gaming, you'll definitely enjoy them. But I agree with Novotnus that many puzzles are abstract and occasionally extremely frustrating. Sam and Max are similar in this regard - a lot of tongue-in-cheek jokes/comments and some insane puzzles, though in retrospect, they make sense. But if you like puzzles, these will definitely get the brain working. ;-)

I found the Wallace and Gromit controls to be horribly clunky and it's almost painful to get around. Too bad since I simply adore all of the shows. But at that price, might be worth giving it a whirl - others may have better success than I did.

As to the rest, either I don't own them or I haven't gotten around to playing them as yet so I can't speak to them. However, the prices are spectacular ;-)
Got a pretty good backlog of adventure games, I'll probably sit this one out but +1 anyway :)
That Edna & Harvey discount is so deep that it hurts.

Ace!
I do love when somehow I spend 20 dollars on games I won't play for another 6 months, at best.
Bought Memoria, because reasons.

Reasons just called. They said they will not take the heat for this. Impulse control will be sacked.

Careful about watching Memoria trailer if you haven't beaten Chains of Satinav, as there are spoilers.
I grabbed Edna & Harvey although i already have more adventures than i can ever play... :D
Must not buy more games....aargh. Can't resist: you saved: $144.50 :D
Nothing for me this time.
Already have Back to the Future from ages ago. Sam and Max... not at all.
