I'm so disappointed by regional pricing (this means that price rises in my region) that thinking about not buying any regional priced games although that has my interest :(

So Poland is in EU2 and Czech Republic in EU1?

I guess so. But something like price-matrix would be helpful in this case

Reaper9988: So I'm gone for a month and this thing despite everything comes on full force, gee I wish i had checked here before posting in the last chance thread.
I really didn't expect this.

jimbob0i0: If you've been gone a month you've probably missed GOG leaping into the slimy practice of preorder only exclusive stuff as well...

You're right I haven't seen that yet either, that's pretty bad too.
Thanks for the link.

GabiMoro: Both games are 19,99 $ for me (Romania). So different prices in different regions of EU? Or is it a glitch?
...
Czech Republic:
Chains of Satinav - 19.79
Memoria - 19.79
Blackguards Special Edition - 44.09
There is a way to see prices from different regions and in every (supported) currency you want to without using a proxy. You won't be able to buy the games with the displayed price though, it's just for looking around. Send me a PM if you want to know more.
I only just skimmed this thread, but there was a link to a Frictional forum which seems to enlighten me on the situation.

In short, it seems GoG told them that "classic' games such as Penumbra and the original Amnesia had to be sold at the default conversion. They didn't agree, hence the removal, but new games such as A Machine for Pigs could have the prices adjusted. Hence why it's still going to be sold on GoG. I'm assuming this also applies to Nordic and why its the "classic" games that are getting removed.

But there are still strange inconsistencies. For example, Jack Keane 2 was released later than Book of Unwritten Tales (for some months) and SpellForce 2: Demons of the Past was released just this year and despite that, they are both being removed from sale.

Makes me wonder if GoG was trying to get them to drop the price on JK2. Spellforce makes sense as if you drop the rest of the series, how can you sell just the one game. But that's just me trying to explain the exceptions.

Nordic Games might have principles too. Just a thought. :D

Something that should have happened long ago. The base price is insane when you compare it to other games.
Most of the games on the current sale got a price of $2.39 for me.
Are those the $1.99 titles for Americans?

Is there so much regional pricing already?
I thought it was only about a few games but a bloody big number is affected if those are the former $1.99 titles.

No, I get those prices as well. They look a little funky because they are 60% off $5.99.

They are $2.39 for those in the U.S. as well. 60% off of the 5.99 titles gives us that exactly. No regional pricing on these. Yet.

Edit: ninja'd.

Also - Grargar's eyes are the only color on this page so far. :)
