Finally finished
L.A. Noire on PC, with its DLCs. Took me a little more than 25 hours.
Game was good, excellent setting and atmosphere, but... it just didn't click with me. But that's my fault: having read nothing about it before buying it on a whim in a Steam sale, I assumed it was a detective game.
But in fact, it's an adventure game under the guise of a detective game. Meaning that the cases are more there to support an underlying story than being important cases in themselves.
Still, it's a good game, it was just not what I was expecting. Plus there were some clunky things about that game: pedestrians and drivers' behaviors, confining to utter stupidity sometimes, the handling of your character and the rendering of women NPC, who were just plain ugly because the game can't handle "natural" hairstyles.
I don't think I'll have time to finish another game before 2013 starts, so let's say it's over for 2012. Still, 30 games over one year, including some quite time-demanding ones (L.A. Noire, The Witcher 2, Mass Effect 3...), it's not bad at all for me, given how busy I've been with my job in 2012. ^_^
Here's my (final) list for 2012:
