Finished The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. A decent game that I enjoyed playing. Not very long (5 hours) but it would have become too repetitive if it was longer.

My final list for this year:
- Alone in the Dark 2
- Atom Zombie Smasher
- Bastion
- Batman Arkham Asylum
- Broken Sword 2
- Cave Story+
- Costume Quest
- Da New Guys: Day of the Jackass
- DLC Quest
- Fahrenheit
- Gemini Rue
- Iji
- Jolly Rover
- Jurassic Park: The Game
- Limbo
- Lost: Via Domus
- Lucidity
- Lume
- Rayman Raving Rabbits
- Puzzle Agent 2
- Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack
- Serious Sam: The Random Encounter
- Shank
- Soulcaster 1&2
- SwiftStitch
- The Shivah
- The Walking Dead
- The Witcher 2
- Les Aventures de Tintin : Le Secret de la Licorne
- Tomb Raider Underworld
- Transformers: War for cybertron
- Your Doodles Are Bugged
- Zombie Shooter
I just completed Limbo in XBLA. Fun game overall and quite challenging especially at the end.
Finally finished L.A. Noire on PC, with its DLCs. Took me a little more than 25 hours.

Game was good, excellent setting and atmosphere, but... it just didn't click with me. But that's my fault: having read nothing about it before buying it on a whim in a Steam sale, I assumed it was a detective game.

But in fact, it's an adventure game under the guise of a detective game. Meaning that the cases are more there to support an underlying story than being important cases in themselves.

Still, it's a good game, it was just not what I was expecting. Plus there were some clunky things about that game: pedestrians and drivers' behaviors, confining to utter stupidity sometimes, the handling of your character and the rendering of women NPC, who were just plain ugly because the game can't handle "natural" hairstyles.

I don't think I'll have time to finish another game before 2013 starts, so let's say it's over for 2012. Still, 30 games over one year, including some quite time-demanding ones (L.A. Noire, The Witcher 2, Mass Effect 3...), it's not bad at all for me, given how busy I've been with my job in 2012. ^_^

Here's my (final) list for 2012:
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Torchlight 2
Bloodrayne 1 & 2
Descent 1 (still working on beating 2)
Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty
TES III Bloodmoon (beat Morrowind and Tribunal in 2011)
TES IV Oblivion (haven't gotten to Shivering Isles yet though)
Beat Wooden Sen'SeY", a nice little platformer from the current groupees Build A Greenlight Bundle. Final boss gave me quite a bit of trouble.
My final completed game of 2012 - the Mega Man 7 De-make.
The original MM7 was 16-bit on SNES, the de-make...uh professionally de-makes it back to 8-bit classic form. Aside from Robot Master names and weapon names, it's all in Japanese, and button customization is very limited, but it feels exactly as if it was done during the MM1-6 era.

My final tally:

Dead Space
Tron Evolution
Dead Space 2
Mega Man: Network Transmission
Duke Nukem Forever
Hard Reset
BloodRayne 2
Bob Came in Pieces
Mega Man 10
Serious Sam 3: BFE
Resident Evil (GameCube remake)
Cave Story+ (normal ending only)
Transformers: War for Cybertron
Jade Empire: Special Edition
Alan Wake (+ both DLCs - The Signal & The Writer)
American McGee's Alice
Resident Evil 5
Project I.G.I.
Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven
Kingpin: Life of Crime
Red Faction Armageddon
Red Dead Revolver
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Dark Void
System Shock 2
Condemned: Criminal Origins
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
Mutant Mudds
Lunar Flight
Metro 2033
Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Street Fighter X Mega Man
Bully: Scholarship Edition
Mega Man 7 (8-Bit De-make)

So I was wrong. L.A. Noire wasn't the last game I would finish in 2012 after all. ^_^

I just finished The Blackwell Legacy. Of course, it's mainly because It's only 2-3 hours long, and I have 2-3 hours free today. ^_^

The story has a nice pitch. I like it. The art was nice too and the voices were decent even if sometimes you hear some mike noise. But that's not a problem, since it's an independant game. And it didn't alter the game at all.

But I'm only midly convinced by this game. Certainly because it was too short and because I spent most of the game trying to get the hang of the UI (combining topics on a notepad is NOT intuitive) and the fact that I had to see the same person several times to get the informations...

Oh well, it won't prevent me to continue the Blackwell games, I just hope I won't take as much time to get the hang of it, this time!

Final of final of final list of 2012:

26 Jan 12 - Witcher 2
28 Jan 12 - Trine 2

30 Dec 12 - Walking Dead

#3 Trine 2 (+ its DLC)
#2 Batman AC
#1 Portal 2 Coop

Yay, on December 31st, 2012 I finished my only game of 2012 and my only game probably since 2009.

Dragon Age Origins was finally completed. Now my goal is to actually finish some games in 2013.
