Hm, we finished
Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper today and in the recent weeks we also finished
Sherlock Holmes versus Arsene Lupin and
Sherlock Holmes: The Secret of Silver Earring.
The games are decent but not outstanding among adventures. If I weren't playing them with my girlfriend I wouldn't completed them.
Silver Earring is the worst of them, maybe even below average game, with many irritating moments, Lupin and Ripper I quite enjoyed, although it's sometimes unbalanced. One moment you are solving some ridiculously hard scheme which is followed by some simple task like fetching map. I liked how investigation process was different in both latter games (Lupin and Ripper).
I would rate the Silver Earring maybe
5.5/10 and the other games 6.5 or maybe
7/10.
I also finished
Saints Row 2 yesterday. Game is fun but it is terrible port. I liked it a lot, enjoyed it most of the time and most it's features is better than GTA games. And I don't know if it was bug or not, but some epilogue missions were absurdly easy. I'd rate it
8/10.
I also played
Defender's Quest for quite a long time and with several stars remaining and almost all characters over level 40, I am unable to progress anymore, so I think I'll stop before I get frustrated. It's very good game, one of the best TD games and I really like the RPG elements.
This one gets
8.5/10. I would rate it even better if it had more RPG choices, with more complex and variable skill trees.
