Pheace: I would assume this is when Atari got it under control though, it arrived with the whole box-set. And it was already on GG before that I believe. So although I commend Gog on their efforts, I'd assume the 'mess' was handled before they got it.
Nope.
GOG first signed Atari. Then, after some time, they signed Hasbro, and they became the first place to sell digital IE games (BG, ID and Planescape).
This was a time when Hasbro and Atari were struggling about D&D IP. A few months later Atari and Hasbro made a deal that Hasbro got it's D&D IP back, but Atari may sell old D&D games.
I guess it was only possible because CDPRed has good relations with Hasbro (now they are their distributor in Poland) and of course with Atari (TW publisher and already on GOG).

But of course it can be Wasteland, I forgot about it. EA may not make money of it, and Brian Fargo can't sell it, it would be perfect to use as a free treat, together with the news that wasteland 2 will be redeemable on GOG.com.
