If it's The Witcher 1, well I already have a US bought box copy from before they patched the mammaries back in via a sneaksie patch. Would be nice to have the game on my shelf and updated and all.
RPG, legendary, really unique, and free?.

My money's on Mother3.

No, not really, but can you imagine the amount of head explosions all over the internet if it was the case?

grviper: Girl-on-girl for $5.99? That won't even get them started.
You sure? :D
anyone mention The Legend of Kyrandia series yet?
(point and click fantasy title from westwood studios)

it loosely fits the RPG tag, and is an out dated adventure title much like GOG's other free games.

Wasteland?

While this isn't a bad idea (I for one would welcome more Westwood titles), but it doesn't tie into CDProjekt RED, nor does it have any connection to people who will or have already bought the Witcher 1.

Austrobogulator: Wasteland?
Isn't the rights to the game's IP a bit of a mess like Bard's Tale 1-3 or Wizardry where one party owns the actual name and IP but the contents of the actual originals are owned by another party?

Speaking of which maybe it's the original Bards Tale or one of the Gold Box games like Pools of Radiance of course that may be in the same boat in IP purgatory as wizardry since SSI was bought by Mindscape who were taken over by EA but the D&D licence is owned by Hasbro and licensed to Atari so one owns the IP and the other owns the code.

Planescape was a right mess too. GOG got it for us in the end though. So I wouldn't put it past them.

I hope so would be nice to see Wasteland, Bards Tale 1-3,the gold box games, and dare I hope System Shock 1 and 2 since my discs for those, much like my thief ones(thankfully gog got those released here), are unreadable now

I would assume this is when Atari got it under control though, it arrived with the whole box-set. And it was already on GG before that I believe. So although I commend Gog on their efforts, I'd assume the 'mess' was handled before they got it.
If it's the Witcher... I may fucking cry.
Would be cool if it had something to do with the games from Legend Entertainment.
Companions of Xanth
Deathgate
Mission Critical
Shannara

Hmm, I think I have most GOG's "Legendary" RPGs, though not all on GOG itself. Guess it wouldn't be too bad to have a GOG version of Fallout for easy access or something.
No No No.

It better not be Baldur's Gate or Planescape, those games deserve to cost money, they NEED to be paid for, to be appreciated. Witcher well.... yeah go ahead and give that away.
