Has anyone played Perimeter: Emperor's Testament?

The two reviews that don't call it "faeces" are about right. It's overly punishing and kind of a lazy expansion. If you're really into Perimeter it might be decent for you though.

Hrm. Its plot, such as it its, is recycled garbage, and gameplay is inferior to original. If you liked Perimeter might be worth a purchase. It's not completely terrible, but only because it's based on a great game.

Cheap enough to buy without regretting if you like RTS, but frankly either of UFO games offers more for the same price tag.

How are the UFO games?

Pretty nice real-time alien-fighting tactics, birds of a feather with XCOM, yet sufficiently different so as not to be a boring clone.
If you like the genre it's a purchase well worth the pittance it's sold for, in my opinion, even if it isn't quite as good as XCOM2.
If you don't, if you find alien invasion fundamentally too silly a concept and tactics bore you to death you should skip it.
