Which game from Creatures series should be the first one to play (or the only one)?

Am I correct that Creatures: The Albian Years? It contains C1+C2 and Exodus is the third part (including multiplayer, which is currently dead). Village is rather for kids, isn't it?

Steel division 2 is on sale at 66% off. I don't know how long it's for.
