We would like to inform you that, due to our storage and CDN provider's outage, we are encountering technical issues that may cause difficulties in downloading and updating your games both through the GOG GALAXY client and GOG Store. Already downloaded files are in no way affected.

We are trying to mitigate this external problem by switching to our secondary storage while our provider is restoring data. We would also like to highlight that those issues do not affect purchasing games. Currently available discounts on selected titles will not be extended due to the above.

It is our team's top priority to resolve those issues and we aim to resolve them as fast as possible. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.

Hmm, I have not had a problem since the issue that this thread was created for has been fixed. Maybe it's a galaxy thing. I've never ever installed that and have no experience with it whatsoever. But I just downloaded the full game of Atom RPG and it worked fine.

Oops, spoke too soon. The final file is still downloading (I think it is slower than usual)...

I'm guessing this is a Galaxy issue, but just in case it isn't, I downloaded Atom RPG (one of the games you listed) and it downloaded fine, albeit it seemed a little slower than usual. Passed the integrity check, installed it, launched it, and all is good. And it is the latest version (here anyway, no idea if Steam has a later version) 1.188 as evidenced by screenshot.

So if it's not a Galaxy thing, possibly a browser issue? I dunno, I'm just not seeing any issues other than perhaps speed (something I've ALWAYS noticed here. My Steam speeds are always better).

Yes, I was using Galaxy. And yes it seems to be a Galaxy issue. I went to the website and was able to download the ATOM offline installers over 2GB (Patch (1.180 to 1.182)).

You're very welcome. As I said previously I've never used Galaxy so don't know for sure, but if/when the issue is fixed I think I've read somewhere that Galaxy does have some advantages regarding downloading offline installers, so it may be worthwhile to keep checking this thread for updates on that.

Well as everyone was impacted, GOG couldn't exactly ignore it, especially as they would have needed to try and reduce financial losses because of it.

This was a major event, that still impacts many of us, download speed wise. In my case, after years with a good download speed with GOG, when this CDN issue settled down, after about a week, my download speed had been reduced to about a fifth of what it was, and has remained that way for two years now. Many others tell a similar story.

So the situation never got truly fixed or was deliberately changed.

I Wonder if its happening again? I Just had something strange happen when I tried going to the gog homepage rather than loading the page it loaded a massive endless line of code. Its very difficult to navigate through gog right now. If I go to the store front page it brings up only half the page.... I'm asking around trying to find out if anyone else is having the same problem....
